  • "Fucking Goddamn Cell Phone" makes me laugh every time I watch this video.

  • I'm sorry, I can't take anyone seriously when there is a bombardment of cats on the screen.

  • wow just wow so what your saying is that the word of god ie the bible is fallible, and then proceed to cherry pick what and what not you believe in based on what you FEEL and im putting emphasis on that word when it doesn't even have the historical accuracy that you claim

  • lol "fucking goddamn cellphone"

  • I share your view. Nice Video!

  • As far as Jesus dying for our sins goes... Perhaps the fact that he came here, and died a perfect man for God, was just proof that it could be done. Many believe that Jesus was God in human form. Maybe Jesus' life was just proof that living in flesh does not make you sinful. You can live in flesh and still live in a perfect spiritual way.

  • How does an almighty creator create things that governed by (His almighty, in this case) natural foundations ruthlessly and indifferently slaughter His own "intelligent" children?

Accepting subjective evidence of a god is a scientific easy way out in my opinion.

I absolutely can not grasp how a magic-less, ruthless, meaningless and explainable nature is actually magically, transcendentally deliberately made.

If I end up being wrong when I die, I'm fine with that. I won't worship God like this.

  • I don't agree with the idea of original sin, nor consider it to exist. But as a non-Christian, you are perhaps the first Christian to give a valid argument on the subject. Kudos for being able to differentiate between faith and science.

  • Huh... did Creationist votebots hit your channel, DonExodus2?

I've noticed that a lot of the great names I subscribe to have really old videos that are rated very low....

It makes me laugh to think that every time these fake Christians do this, they make their Jesus cry.

  • Who believe that God is dead? Watch "GOD PICTURE ID PLEASE" on YOUTUBE. Raise educated issues. Argue with yo1dude1man who wrote "Organized religions are misdirected. To me DMT God 3.0 is the revelation of Christ power within us." Paste this MESSAGE in comment boxes of those not brain dead. Humanity must know God Jehovah is now on earth in person to partner with those with brains, reconcile all religions and atheism, to raise the world to the next level of civilization. Happy Holidays.

  • @DMTGOD3 Oh shut up, you crazy fanatic.

  • @ThatOneQuestion Oh shut up, you crazy fanatic.

Watch Lunar Eclipse tonight. Happy Holidays.

  • @DMTGOD3 Yes, happy Winter Solstice... you know, the celebration Christians stole from other religions?

  • @ThatOneQuestion Now you canm watch with an open mind "God, Picture ID, Please" then get back to me. Happy Holidays.

  • @DMTGOD3 No, I dont think I'll watch your mind numbing bullshit if you have to spam it all the time.

  • Also, if Jesus were real, why are there no records of the Roman trial and execution of a "king"? The Jesus Mysteries makes a good case for the non-existance of Jesus. Although I like Holy Blood Holy Grail version better (they say he was historical).

  • If the myths in the Bible are for primative man then the Bible needs to be updated, big time.

  • You are quite right. Watch "GOD PICTURE ID PLEASE" on YOUTUBE. Raise educated issues. Argue with yo1dude1man who wrote "Organized religions are misdirected. • Love the kitty pictures, big cat fan.

  • So when exactly do the geneologies go from fictional characters to real characters?

  • they don't.

this is just what people might write to bolster their/others importance. Its just like the Merovingians being claimed by others to come from a fish god thing; the fish god isn't true to my knowlege, but the merovingians existed. its a case of aggrandisement or simplification.

    my 2 cents.

  • Cool cat pix. Might have been a good idea cutting the 'losing temper at cell phone' bit, which made you sound a bit of a twit.

  • "you have no proof that it's fictional".

Umm. Yes we do. Read the Bible. How is it possible, that while Noah's flood was taking place (about 2300-2400 BC), the Egyptians - who were already under their THIRD dynastic rule - somehow missed out on this event? They never died off. Their population never disappeared. None of their buildings or relics were ever overcome by magical flood waters.

    Please use your brain.

  • "[Noah's flood overlaps Egyptians]"

What makes you believe the Egyptian timeline is thus?

  • The same type of evidence we'd use to support our claims about Jesus - written history and archaeology. But unlike the genealogies of the old testament where people lived for "hundreds" of years (a practice borrowed from the Sumerians who made their deified kings thousands of years old), the genealogies of the Egyptians are not mythologized.

  • Haha,

    love the cat pictures

  • First of all, he's expressing his personal opinion.

Second, Christian or not, if you really believe that it happened exactly as the bible describes it, you've got problems of your own.

Thirdly, you can't "prove" something to be fictional for the same reason you can't "prove" that Santa Claus is made up. You can't test it.

However, we have proven beyond reasonable doubt that snakes cannot talk, women were not spawned from a man's rib, and we aren't made out of mud.

  • We must DESTROY creationism. I'm a Christian, btw.

  • Damn cats...I had to watch this video twice because I was distracted by the slideshow

  • Same here. Lolcats are awesome, though.

  • Lol, cats are bitchy. A lot like girls, sometimes they can be really nice or down right pissed off for no reason.

    I like rabbits better.

  • Oh, good video by the way...

  • "eating of fruit talking rib woman thing" LMAO

I love how you say "god damn cell phone" at the beginning of a video about your faith. Not that I have a problem with it, or that I think you're a "bad christian" or whatever b/c of it (although I don't know how much worth that opinion holds seeing as how I'm not christian), but I just thought it was a little ironic... It made me laugh, LOL.

Oh, and I love kitties too. Those pics are so cute. :)

  • Kitties MHAaa HAA ha ha, 5 stars.

  • Great video. I digg.

By the way, do you have terets? (:36)

  • lol, i think the don is actually somewhat inebriated in this one : )

  • I love your love of cats!

  • cool cats

  • I disagree with you that the creation account and adam and eve were symbolic and yes I am also a theistic evolutionist, but I dont think you can see those stories are symbolic because that undermines the inerrancy of god's word is you ask me

I think genesis is not just compatible with evolution, but that it is ONLY compatible with evolution and NOT with magical sponteanous creation. Watch my first video for evidence for that:

    watch?v=5-owArYYA-s

  • Then by your logic, thinking God is not a piece of granite sitting somewhere in Utah (God is a rock) "undermines the inerrancy of god's word".

  • no ofcourse not, but thats a whole different than taking a complete story allegorically because in that way you can take the entire bible allogory

  • UNLESS the context of the text itself (2+ authors) indicate an allegorical interpretation as best.

This is the case with Genesis.

  • :) u keep telling that u believe in a cristian god... but as god is eternal how can u define what it is?

  • what a mighty partition you've got going here...

  • whats with all the cats? lol

  • Its caturday.

  • i think that it is damaging the cause for an atheist to say that there is no god. we have no proof of that. all that i can say as an atheist or scientist or whatever, is "i do not yet know". pardon the double negative, but i have seen no proof that there is no god. though this is where science and religion butt heads. science cannot disprove god (nor do i think it was ever trying to) and god cannot disprove science(for whatever reason an omnipotent being chooses not to).

  • of course you can not say conclusively that there definitely is no God but. I think when atheist say they don't believe in God is that there is very low probability that there is a celestial being. if you are not sure whether god exists or not call yourself and an agnostic not an atheist

  • there is a difference between belief and knowledge. i do believe there is no god, but i cannot say that there is no god. i dont not have proof of this. so i guess the bible is right on that count in a strange sort of way. it is truely the fool who says there is no god... without proof that is =)

  • I think on the genealogy part, adam and eve could of been real people (although like you said the story of original sin could be fictional but just with real people) And they could of just wrote down all the people that came from them. It doesn't make it false or anything...same thing with noah's ark. There is proof proof of a regional flood, but it could of just been embellished to prove a point you know? So if you look at it this way, the genealogy and the symbolic message can both be right.

  • Couldn't you have edited the "Fucking God Damn cellphone"?

  • Yea, didnt notice till it was already up.

  • lulz!

  • dude, I thought that was the funniest part :)

  • Thanks for the very good point, thank you!

...especially because neither evolution nor science are evidence against God (or for God). There might be evidence against the creationist version of God (which is inevitable), but science will always remain agnostic by definition when it comes to whether or not there is a God.

Frankly (and obviously) I dislike it when either creationists or atheists abuse science for their cause. In both cases it just does more harm than good.

  • Thanks,

Again, many Christians are under the assumption that because science doesnt view "God did it" as a complete explanation for EVERYthing, all scientists are evil atheists. Sadly, if we stuck to that approach, we would still be burning people at the stake.

Oh, yea, and Behe believes in common descent....

  • By the way, you said my name right (for confirmation on pronunciation, view the beginning of my video "Victory is Mine!"

  • Interesting sidenote, spoke to Behe half hour ago. Something he told me struck me as interesting: "Intelligent design is not opposed to "evolution"; it is opposed to Darwinism, or other unintelligent explanations for life. I do think life unfolded over time, but think that the evidence firmly shows it was an intelligently guided process."

I disagree of course, but asked him for more clarification, and brought up some other unrelated things. Thought this would amuse you.

  • You actually spoke to Michael Behe? You know, I've known that about Behe for a long time (that he believes evolution) - I just hope, for his sake, that his rabid Creationist supporters don't find that out. And yes, that does amuse me - I strongly believe he has diluted his view of science deliberately so he can feel justified in making money by publishing non-scientific materials.

  • lol. He simply believes the mutations which furnish the material for natural selection to act upon are not random, and guided by an intelligent force. Cant really argue that, or falsify it, for that matter.

But yea, Ive spoken to both Behe and Miller (Miller for longer though). Dr. Miller actually helped me a good deal by giving me the idea original sin = our disobedient nature. Not sure what else he feels from there, never really asked him to elaborate.

  • I believe that a perfect god that wanted his creation to know him would make the best attempt(s) possible to let his creation know him. Instead, we get massive confusion and refutation. Isn't it odd that Christianity started out just like every other religion? Based in one area, then spread out? Wouldn't THE religion be the one that ALL cultures of the world knew about simultaneously from its conception? Instead, you have a God that wanted his message to spread by word of mouth.

  • ///I believe that a perfect god that wanted his creation to know him would make the best attempt(s) possible to let his creation know him.///

Id say sending Jesus to die is a decent attempt...

//Wouldn't THE religion be the one that ALL cultures of the world knew about simultaneously from its conception?//

Thats what missionaries try to do. What would be the alternative? Magically appear to everyone? That would completely remove faith from the equation.

  • How would Christianity appearing in all parts of the world remove faith? I could easily rationalize multiple sudden appearances away, if I really wanted to.

Perhaps people spread the religion, and destroyed any evidence of it being spread, to create the illusion of a sudden appearance.

  • ///How would Christianity appearing in all parts of the world remove faith?///

Because Jesus isnt Waldo, and there arent 50 of them!

It would require an enormous, undeniable revelation to spread it to EVERY culture, and that would remove all faith.

  • I don't think you see my point. Even in this age, you have thousands of people dying every day, at least a handfull of them dying before even hearing the name of Jesus (these can be children or people in secluded tribes.) Think of how few missionaries there were 500 years ago. 1,000 years ago. 1,500 years ago. Think of all the non-Christians that were never given a chance to accept Christ. Once again, I'll refer you to a vid of mine: "The Best Apples in the World"

  • It would appear my reply wasnt posted.

I stated that I do not believe in an all loving God who would damn anyone to eternal suffering simply for not being in the West. That being said, that is one of the reasons we do have missionaries to begin with.

To my knowledge, the church itself has also addressed this problem, and does not feel those people who have never had the chance to accept Christ will be damned.

My personal opinion on the subject however, differs from the church somewhat.

  • "I stated that I do not believe in an all loving God who would damn anyone to eternal suffering simply for not being in the West. That being said, that is one of the reasons we do have missionaries to begin with."

Do you believe in hell or some kind of damnation for those who have heard the good news but still are atheists?

  • Damnation? No. I believe hell is merely separation from God.

  • So what does "he would not damn those who never knew Jesus" mean in your earlier statement, do you mean these people are not seperated from God as well?

  • "What kind of god are these moderates imagining? A god that deliberately confused everyone for thousands of years, causing all kinds of horrific acts inspired by misinterpretations he knew were going to happen, and only now that we have science do we understand what the bible really meant? You'd think a disclaimer at the beginning would be a good idea. This will be the next 'theory', intelligent deception. God is just fucking with us."

    -theinquisitor

  • So, to recap, we have free will. Sin (original and continual) comes with that, and it must be balanced- which is what Jesus' sacrifice provided- along with the ability for us to be forgiven- God assumes the burden. We learn though experience. Life is the process by which we learn and grow, and its needed for our maturity. God doesn't simply poof us into enlightenment, we must earn it through trial and experience. Thats what life is all about.

  • "the genealogy is based on 2000 years of word of mouth." I understand this view - it fits with your presumption that the bible is not literal truth. I get that. But don't you think it's a little strange that 99% of the Christians that have lived were mistaken? I'd like to direct you to my channel wall, just underneath my photo...hell, I'll just post it here.

  • I was actually referring to the 2000 years of genealogy before Jesus (since people didnt live 900 years, Im shortening it by half), so from 2000 BC to 0BC.

//But don't you think it's a little strange that 99% of the Christians that have lived were mistaken?///

We both know the masses are often mistaken. There are 100 million Americans who believe sound travels faster than light. They may be mistaken about the subtle details (apple), but may still be correct about the message.

  • Oops, meant to edit the part out where my girlfriend drove me batshit :P
