@killsau Although this has now changed to a trial (it used to be free) it still works after the trial period, it just takes some of the features away, features that weren't present when i was making this video anyway.

Dont get this shit guys. it may be good but you can get " CAMTASIA" it lets you record your screen, Xbox or PS3 1080p Full HD, and webcam HD, also has editing software with it so Yeah, Alot better <3

@jorraine11 erm i think its WMV with 8000kb/s bit rate, resolution is dependant on how much of the screen you decide to capture although it does give you the option to change all of that once recorded. That was the old version however, the new version lets you do any of the codecs but its only a trial now, which sucks, there may still be a download of the earlier version somewhere out there on the interwubs

I've tried like 3 other recording programs, but they have all had problems. They all constantly crash and have insane video files that go up to 2GB. This program is the best. It's easy to use, great quality, and it has low-MB files. And of course it is free!

@SirusDiarota Dont leave the sound input option under default like i did, set it to your microphone or stereo mix for computer sound, the only reason default worked for me was because that mic was the only option i had enabled under input devices, i disabled all the rest

Might just need to just run it windowed. That or just grab Fraps or hypercam and newbie it all the way home
