I am a former resident of Upper Merion Twp., the TWP bordering Valley Forge. (In fact, this carillon and Chapel, are physically located within the confines of Upper Merion) I'm also former member of the Valley Forge Park Police under the PA Dept. of Forests and Waters (before the Feds came in and ruined the park) and this is the first time I've ever heard the National Anthem performed on the carillon. Amazing! But what wonderful memories of a beautiful and most hallowed place.
Mercy! This is the first time I'VE heard the National Anthem played on a carillon as well!
Dang, carillons are so heavy, thus hard to get into churches and campuses.
