North-Sweden, or Finland, neither of them were vikings, because no-one has found rune stones from here! So, why in fuck everyone is speaking about vikings, or viking metal? If you really would love Ensiferum, you would know finns were one of the enemies of vikings, our old mountain castles were made to defend our land from vikings. So, call this folk metal, please.

He can sing "normally", as you put it most commonly and correctly known as "clean vocals." He can growl or he can scream. That's the great thing about metal. There's tons of diversity.

Jari doesnt have that melodic feeling in his voice that Perti has. Thats the best part of this song, is the upbeat rhythm with just the perfect vocals over it. I dont honestly think that Jari ever had that. I love him in Wintersun, and on the first two Ensiferum albums, but I always loved his guitar work over his voice.
