It's great to kids taking up drums instead of the all too often guitar (or worse Guitar Hero). I took up drums when I was 10 and played in Drum Corps and rock bands including 2 gigs with Duran Duran when I was 17. Good to see a talent show recognising something other than a singer. Kieran is a good drummer for his age. Better than most 12 year olds and so am I. How good is he, Its hard to tell by just playing one song. I am 12 and I can play about 300 songs and I do with my band. If I just played one song all the time who knows how good I would be at that one song. I play 3-4 gigs a week with my band. It would be great for Kieran to do the same thing I do. Play with other professional musicians.
