  • I love when you're trying to remember when they called you for your early ultrasound.. and you pause & we can hear the clock ticking. Ha ha. It made it funnier :).

  • You radiate joy and it's contagious - I'm SO purely happy for you! (ie: discussing your aversion to cinnamon raisin it's clear that, while you are disgusted by it, you're joyous to experience such strong pregnancy symptoms <3) Great to celebrate every milestone, it's special; so special.

  • Oh and I had high numbers too...we had an ultrasound (due to an ER visit for stomach pains) and there is only ONE! I was relieved, not going to lie! All of my subbies thought that I was having twins too, because of the numbers!

  • You are adorable! I'm having food aversions and it sucks! I craved the Macaroni and Cheese dinners too when I was pregnant with Em! Maybe you're having a girl! ;) Yayyy for the early ultrasound! So glad everything is perfect and that you have a healthy little baby in there! XOXO.

  • haha I love the way you say bagel and out :) I am really sorry you are having some aversions.. my big one was eggs.

for my first ultrasound I didn't drink anything.. they saw the baby fine haha

  • Loved the update!

  • Your pregnancy is going great you are 10 weeks and no morning sickness YOU LUCKY GIRL I am currently 18 weeks I suffered horribly from morning sickness until 12 weeks

  • So happy you finally got your ultrasound!! I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks, but it was done at the hospital., because I was spotting. (it's all good) The tech had to use the trans vag wand because I didnt have notice or time to drink enough water. The little "gummy bear" or shrimp is pretty amazing isn't it!!! At my 12 week NT scan I drank too much water and the dr. actually had me empty my bladder!! So., everyone is different!

    Happy New Year!

  • Aww I cried.

  • Haa I loved when u paused u hear the clock... Tick tick tick tick

  • @radsecret I know!!! it's sooo loud!!!! lol

  • A&W Rootbeer is also super good too! And no caffeine! :) That's my go-to caffeine free pop! mmm :)

  • Some1's going to have a go at u for this so it may as well be me lol :)

soft serve ice cream is on the no no list & includes the stuff they use at Macca's in the flurry's :) ur tub of oreo would be fine tho so happy ice cream scoffing lol :)

its a pitty they didn't do ur US internally u would have seen an even better image. And yep u dont need to drink that much water that you end up in tears. 3 glasses about 45mins b4 is heaps enough. a full bladder pushes ur uterus up to make it more visable

  • @lucytune80 OMG!!!! I ca't believe I missed that in my search of foods to avoid!!!! Thank you! Luckily I only had a little bit, and then moved on to the carton! But still! Thank you for having a go at me!!! lol

  • @turtleames no probs :) its very rare for it to cause food poisioning (sorry can't remember which one it can exactly cause) but its still listed. Something about not knowing if the vendor has kept it at the correct temp, like if its been let warm and cool too often if the machine is dodgy etc. The mobile vendors/trucks are supposed to be the ones to mainly watchh for but i know the Macca's here are always saying 'sorry our machine is broken' lol so i guess u can't be too careful :)

  • Yay! So glad you just have one super healthy baby :) I go for my first apt on the 12th (been waiting to even talk to my doctor for a month!) I can't wait and I'm hoping to get an ultrasound! Cant wait for week 10, weve had similar pregnancies so far and since your slightly ahead of me I feel like I know more what to expect :)

  • Sooo happy for you!!!

  • Yayyyy, I am so excited!!!!!!!! Glad you got to hear if it's one or two and that "it's" doing okay!!!!!!xxxx Congratulations momma!

  • Yaahh for one very healthy strong baby!! Can't wait to see ultrasound pics :)

  • I felt the exact same way when we got an U/S, that it was even less believable, just something on TV! I've never told anyone that besides my husband. It only became really real when I started to feel baby kick. :) So happy you got to see your gummy bear and had such a nice Christmas!

  • So happy you got to see baby!!! Every u/s is just as exciting as the first! Enjoy!!!

  • I'm grinning from ear to ear! :) Congratulations on one beautiful healthy "gummy bear"!

  • brought tears to my eyes! So happy baby is a super healthy lil guy/gal :)

  • So happy that you got your ultrasound!!! How exciting for seeing baby and the heartbeat! Just wonderful and so happy for you :-)

  • Happy 10 Weeks!! Congrats on your little bean!! <3

  • it will be surreal until you are home about a few days after the baby is born... the whole experience for me was that way...

  • Love how you say "bagel" you can really hear you accent when you say it. Im so happy for you.

  • @jengilbert3369 hahahahahha!!! I love it!!!

  • i had my 13 week ultrasound.. saw all the amazingness and it still doesnt feel real! I think it will feel real when baby kicks us!!!

  • @TheTurnersJourney It will be the only time in our kids life when it's ok for them to kick us!!! lol

  • awe, that's wonderful! Congrats on seeing your little gummy bear!!!!!!!!!

  • P.S. Our pregnancies are sooooo similar so far! I've been eating bagels for breakfast every day too, and am having the food/smell aversions too. We also had an ultrasound around 9 weeks and baby's heart rate was 174! :)

  • I'm a week ahead of you so I love watching your vids! :) Ooooh, I had no idea that Mug Rootbeer doesn't have caffeine in it - I will definitely have to get some. Before getting pregnant I was a Coke/Pepsi ADDICT and I'm finding it really hard not being able to drink it. 7-up and other "clear pops" just don't do it for me. Mmmmmm.... getting some Root Beer tomorrow! :D

  • Why do you have to drink so much water for ultrasound? I have my first appt on Wednesday and they never told me to drink a ton of water?

  • @amelie7041 They tell you to drink approx 3 8oz glasses of water 1 hour before an ultrasound b/c it makes your bladder full, and provides a "window"! So The tech can look "through" your bladder to the uterus. I'm not really sure why they didn't tell you to drink water. They might have u drink i once you get there... OR they're planning a transvaginal ultrasound. (don't need to drink water for a transvaginal.. only when it's ontop of the stomach!)

  • @turtleames Thanks! I have a feeling they will be giving me a transvaginal ultrasound but I will call on Tuesda before my appt on Wednesday to confirm!!!!

  • @turtleames The generally only make you drink up until 12 weeks. By then bub is big enough to see without dying of a horribly full bladder!

  • @krissypurdytoes Thank goodness for that!!!! lol!!!

  • great video! I can't wait for my ultrasound next week! I know you have told your family but have u told the rest of the world u are preg yet?

  • @TheCanadianchick1979 We did tell everyone!! The day we had the ultrasound and saw that baby was looking awesome, and had a strong heartbeat, we made it facebook official. Alot of our close family and friends already knew at around 5 weeks, but EVERYONE knows now!!!

  • YAY!! :D

  • Spirals KD .. Mmmmmmmmmmmm I had huge KD cravings when I was preggo with Alice .. Mmm soo good !

    I love your face !

Yaye for ultrasound !! I cant wait for your next scan !!

  • @CrazyCoolShorty hehehehe!! Love that you love Spirals too!! Hopefully I'll go back to loving it after bebe is born!!! lol
