  • You really captured the pulse of this song. Thanks for the experience!

  • @Billsk Thank you! With this song, you need to capture it to play.

  • muito bom...parabéns....

  • @TheJabassauro Obrigado.

  • that was just beautiful man. Thank you. You are amazing

  • @WBPRaydio Thank you. It is my pleasure.

  • Wow. Just wow! One of my favorite Beatle songs- didn't think I'd listen all the way through, but once I got into it I couldn't cut away. Excellent! Good job, man! How great were the Beatles to write such awesome, intricate melodies.

  • @flyboy1100 Thank you. This is a very George Harrison taste song and I like it a lot.

  • =D!! Brilliant!

  • Thank you!

  • Missing the guitar solo

  • I'll add one when I decide to include this in a future CD.

  • i'd give so much to be able to play like you

    lol

seems like something you're born with eh.

  • Keep practicing. That is what I've been doing and the only way. (^^)

  • Wow - this is bloody good. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Brilliant stuff.

  • Thank you for an extra star.

  • Five stars for you !!!!

  • Thank you!

  • Excellent! And i see the yellow Submarine in the background!

  • Thank you! That submarine used to be more bright yellow but it is fading to white and it is now a Beige Submarine.

  • Wow! Excellent! This is one of those overlooked Beatles songs that we just don't hear often enough. And it's a great example of what fine musicians they were. Unbelievable amount of talent for one group. And I love the way you arrange and play their songs (as well as all the other songs in your videos). Thank you for sharing your own talents with us.

  • Thank you. I agree with you.

  • Great Job... love to hear your style to really great music. Im 12 years old and love hearing beattles music. my dad plays them alot

  • Thank you. Nice music to grow up with. At least they were for me. (^^)

  • 5 stars and favorited

  • Thank you for stars.

  • Great playing (as all your vids here on youtube :)

How comfortable is this silent guitar comparing with a 'normal' acoustic ??

Does the 'upper arm' dig into your chest as you play for a longer time ??

  • Thank you. It is a comfortable guitar for practicing. I have no problem (pain) with "upper arm" digging my chest. I probably have enough fat on my chest.

  • Wow. You have real talent. I love your interpretation of this song.

  • Thank you.

  • Awesome work again. What is the voicing you are using for the E augmented chord in the verse?

  • Thank you. If you are talking about E aug chord on 2:15, then it's E on 4th string (2nd fret), G# on 3rd string (1st fret), C on 2nd string (1st fret), E on 1st string (open). If you are talking about different section, please tell me by the time (minuets and seconds).

  • i just have a question. do u have the music for all of these? and if so where did you get it? because if u learned to play that by ear thats absolutely amazing...

  • Thank you. They are my arrangements so I don't need to get them.

  • Brilliant playing! I like how you handled the "guitar solo" part. Novel idea to play this song finger picking style. I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing it with us.

  • Thank you and you're welcome.

  • superb guitar playing fella, thought I could play until I saw this. I'm sure Mr Harrison would've loved this version of his song. Hare krishna!!

  • Thank you. I will ask him when I'm there.

  • Fantastic playing

  • Thank you.

  • WOW great playing.. Ive never seen a guitar like this.. who makes it? sounds good anyway.

  • Thank you. I have some info and an image of the guitar on my website. Click the URL in the song description section.

  • great george song! heard it long ago as a kid in 'blue album'

great lyrics to it as well "... right is only half of what's wrong..." - in fact there used to be a brown shoe just like this stuck in a niche in our backyard in yoyogi-uehara in tokyo, and we could never remove it - until an ishi-yaki-imo guy and I removed it - he also gave me a free kagoshima yaki-imo (LOL!)

george was so underrated as a songwriter and lyricist - thanks for posting this hiro, you really took off on 2:08 (hehe)

  • Thank you. That Yaki-Imo guy is a very nice person, isn't he. George was never underrated in me. They needed him and Ringo to be them.

  • Great playing!! "Old Brown Shoe" is a song written by George Harrison that was first released by The Beatles as a B-side to "The Ballad of John and Yoko". It is also available on the Beatles' compilation albums The Beatles 1967-1970, Hey Jude and Past Masters, Volume Two. An elaborate demo version is included on the Anthology 3 album.

The Beatles' recording of this song features lead vocals from Harrison, and backing vocals from John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

  • Thank you for the detailed info of the song.

  • Hi Sketch. Did you know you can play this video and others in High Quality mode with stereo sound? Just add &fmt=18 to the url and hit enter to see what I mean. Have fun!

  • Thank you for a tip. I noticed that the video is loading slower than usually, but not much on the speakers built-in at the bottom of iMac. I wonder why Apple hides everything in behind. I am too lazy to find a headphone jack.

  • Very nice! I've always thought of this as a rather odd little tune, though very catchy; your rendition preserves both those elements. Great job, once again.

  • Thank you. It is true that not too many notice this as The Beatles' song, but it was in the Blue album (1967-1970).

  • once again,..the stings play. thanks

  • Thank you and you're welcome. BTW, what is "stings" mean?

  • sorry.ment the string on the gitar.

  • Oh okay. Thank you for telling me.

  • You are very gifted! 6 stars!! lb

  • Thank you for the extra star!

and I've practiced 'sesame street' everyday.

It is difficult to me yet, but I've practiced very hard with my father. thanks a lot. kind man hiroshi, have a good day and take care.(^^)

  • Thank you. (^^)/

Have fun practicing and you have a good weekend too.

  • Thank you.

  • Hey you changed your headphones!!!!! (they were part of your personality to me :D ) but your music is still the same !!!!! awsome!!!! thanks AGAIN!!! :)

  • Thank you. I still have that headphone. I just get tired of wearing after a few hours of practicing. So I used the one I usually use for iPod for this video.

  • Absolutely great playing.

    I sure like your guitar.

    5+

  • Thank you for the stars.

  • good job! that was very nice! :)

  • Thank you. (^^)/

  • awesome arrangement and very well played as usual! I'm amazed . thanks for this song.

  • Thank you.

  • New haircut!

    Very favorable...

  • Thank you. It was too long. I was waiting the weather to be bit warmer. I went to a kind of barber where they cut your hair in 15 minuets.

  • OK, you can just plain twang that dang thing GOOD. another 5 star.

  • Thank you for the stars.

  • Flawless as always... one of my favorite Harrison / Beatles tunes!!.. how long does it take you to figure out a tune?..

  • Thank you. It depends on songs. Once I get an idea for a particular song that is not too complicated, it will takes about two hours. On the other hand, there are songs that have been in my mind with a few ideas for years.

  • Very nice arrangement! great playing.

  • Thank you!

  • Great work! I really like how use bass notes when you play your chords. Keep them coming!!!

    Thanks for the video peacejoytown!

  • Thank you and you're welcome.

  • Great!

  • Thank you!

  • I am very glad you added a George tune. He is my favorite Beatle.

On a side note, the link to your website on this video needs to be fixed by changing the "emg" to "eng".

    More George!

  • Thank you for noticing. I guess I need to buy a new keyboard. On "M" and "N" keys, the letters are hardly visible.

I have a few more George in stock, I guess I need to find something new.
