My girlfriend and i are likely taking a cape air 402 from st thomas to san juan nov 2008. How do they handle compared to 737/757? I know they are totally different class and size, just want an idea so i know what to expect.
okay don't even think 737/757 as a comp. It's like apples & oranges, entirely differant. But, it's great. You fly low and get to see a lot. The islands, boats, etc. Watch for iguanas on the runway in San Juan. Once we had to go around and take a second shot at landing while 1 was cleared from runway!! My son works for Cape Air at STX and I have taken these 9 passenger Cessnas quite a bit. There a kick.
@ibook133 Because they are smaller aircraft, you feel the wind affecting it alot more, plus the props make it a little bit of a shaky ride, and its kinda loud inside the cabin...BUT its an awesome experience...every seat is an isle seat AND a window seat and the CO-PILOT seat is a Passenger seat in most flights. Flights never go above 8,000 feet so a nice day.., you will get an awesome view you cant get from other airlines. Go for it..you wont be dissapointed.
what law is this?

I flew on Cape Air from Tampa to Sarasota. They are a totally different experience from a normal commercial airliner, but its worth the experience
