  • Gosh, but I love this. You do a great job. :)

  • BARRY MANILOW is a National Treasure!!

It is great to see him here in younger years at the height of his vocal prowess.

But the current Manilow, a bit more mature, sings beautifully still, with both lovely ballads and many new great standards! The man is just one iconic singer and performer!

  • Hearing the light crackle of the record brings back child hood memories. Thanks for posting...

  • How absolutely wonderful is this song...sigh-----------

  • Barry Manilow turns 68 next month.

  • I like your CD-4 downmix better than Ron Dante's stereo mix---well done!!!

  • Wow...faultless mix

  • nice job, dude

  • What an awesome job of remastering! Hats off to you. This 1975 Manilow song is his best in my opinion. I can remember listening to this when it came out.

Truly one of the gem of the mid 70s.

  • THANK YOU!! Barry Manilow!! For donating to my school!! JWMS!! (James Worman Middle School) THANK YOU!

  • Was this encoded into the QS or SQ quad systems from the CD-4 record? Had that been done, it could be heard in essentially the four channels that were on the record rather than the rear channels simply folded into the fronts, as will happen when CD-4 records are played in stereo.

  • My ears were in heaven listening to this version, from one speaker to the next the effect was fantastic, can only imagine if it was in surround.

  • Great Song... Thanks motownboy !!

  • i am definitely a fanilow! :D

  • finally found it

  • THIS IS 1 OF MY ALL TIME FAVE TUNES

    AND ALLWAYS WILL BE

    I JUST LOVE IT

  • I really enjoyed the sound in this! What a great job! I love this song, but this mix really opened up a lot of the tones. Thank you for sharing!

  • I have heard this song for many years and to me, it's one of his best hits. I have been a Barry Manilow fan for years since a lot of his songs are perfect for my vocal range as a singer.

  • I hope I"ll get to meet him or see him one day. He's just wonderful.

  • I love Barry. His voice is wonderful. Hopefully, one day I will get to see him live.

  • Music is the elixier of the soul - especially song like this from a true performer ... takes me back to my first girlfriend who adored him - i remember watching his live UK tours on TV ... classic.

  • Barry Manilow has been a Part of My Life since 1975 . That's 35 Great Years I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks a Lot Mr. Manilow you Definitely Write a Lot of Great Songs.

  • There's no voice as golden as Manlow's.

  • great job as usual

  • TERRIFIC JOB as usual! Originally written for David Cassidy from his autobiographical LP on RCA by Bruce Johnston of Beach Boys fame, who also performed on that album. The 'story' of this song fits into the 'theme' created for the Cassidy album titled 'The Higher They Climb, The Harder They Fall'. But as we all know, Manilow had the 'hit' with this track. This quad mix sounds more 'dynamic' and the string & horn section are more predominant than the Stereo version we all know and love...

  • @tubeie07 - Thanks, tubeie07! I was aware of the David Cassidy connection to Bruce Johnston. It is amazing how sometimes it may also be about timing. The Captain & Tennille also recorded the song earlier that same year as Manilow on their "Love Will Keep Us Together" album.

  • @THEmotownboy I did not know that! I must check it out - thanks!

  • I'm not the biggest Manilow fan, but this mix-down is quite redemptive and impressive to boot. I can only imagine what it sounds like in a four-channel environment. Shame that YT doesn't preserve sound beyond two-channel stereo. Cheers.

  • @parachuteclubbed - Thank you!

  • great job as always,thanks!

  • @chompo7 - Thanks!
