How do you do the autofocus thing where it shows something in front and the thing in the background is blurred? Im going to buy one soon so i was just wondering! please reply! :)
I'm saving up for this camera but a little worried I don't have a great understanding of frps, p, and exporting. Would you say its easy to learn when using the camera?
@CottonWoolJames I'm a newbie as well bro... after extensive research and lessons online, i could finally say that I understand... believe it or not, I've got my lessons from youtube about fps etc, etc... plus as you film you will start to learn bit by bit by the mistakes you may or may not make...
@krisism44007 thanks for the reply. I'm still saving up and its going to be a little longer than I expected to be able to afford the camera. But now I'm wondering if its worth maybe paying a little bit extra and getting a 7d. But then I see the great quaility that the 550d can do in your vid and I'm so confused lol
@goodfella4 my exposure settings are set on automatic... I know, I'm still a rookie bro... and as far as importing the files, simple enough I just imported to my iphoto on my mac and used mpeg streamclip to convert it to prores and imported it to final cut... the easiest way i know how until the 550d eos utility becomes available for final cut
Lovely!.. A question. I am having 450D right now. How difficult is it for a new user to use Movie functions? ARe they same as what we use in Picture modes?
@directorOO7 They are extremely easy... the 550d aka Canon T2i is honestly a beast in the video department. The only thing you have to worry about is the audio... it's not the best but it works...

did you imput the files directly into final cut as they are or use the e1 plugin? Also did you use manual or auto exposure and settings?
