Seriously Rudess got so much talent, on Octavarium, what he did was amazing and knowing that for one of the track of Systematic Chaos one of his improvisation was so awesome that they actually put it on the track, it's simply amazing.

If you would want to compare it to Pink Floyd then this intro resembles the song Shine on You Crazy Diamond more then welcome to the machine

By the way I love this song. Though I didn't like the rest of the tracks on Octavarium as much this single 24 minute masterpiece more then made up for it.

wow, dream theater really do like pink floyd. not only did they cover their whole dark side album, they actually had a song that sounds very similar to the beginning of shine on you crazy diamond. however, this song is just as amazing. this is definitely some of the best music ever made on the planet.

Believe it or not that is only a half-harken that is only half of a regular harken! I was seriously considering purchasing a half-harken and a had the 3500 dollars for it but then i realized how damn hard they are to play. you vary the notes but 3 factors x or length, y or hight on the board and z or how hard you push. it is truly a remarkable and unmatched instrument.
