  • making children standout by not saluting the flag or not singing the anthem, is very cruel.

  • @happychick1973 Are you a Watchtower Society member?

  • proof they think we are mental please watch

    in the watchtower itself youtube.com/watch?v=xYMQmwo-trQ

  • youtube.com/watch?v=xYMQmwo-trQ

  • people just dont like being told wats rong n right. they like stealing smelling fornicating being gay and doin watever they please n believing they have gods approval. that the TRUE reason y people leave the jw organization because were tell the hardcore truth and tell u wat ur doing rong according to the bible and people hate that

  • Um, I dont think so seeing as most of the "bible based teachings" are altered/interpreted in a way that backs JW DOCTRINE. eg. birthdays, blood, disfellowshipping, beards, door to door evangelizing, mothers day, fathers day the list goes on. the most evil being "think like us, if you question the governing body you are in fact questioning God.

  • @96civicb20 I see you list "smelling" as a sin...interesting choice, oh by the way

Studies done by Swiss psychiatrist Janner, Swedish psychiatrist Dr. Rylander and an American study by Precore all concluded that the rate of mental illness among Jehovah’s Witnesses is 32-40 times higher than the rest of the population..the religion is a sick, damaging cult, google the facts ( risking disfellowship if you do) ... or live a life of lies and mental slavery, good luck

  • @mostghost99 I goggled the facts.

Your comment lacks accuracy and credibility.

Is that your best or do you want to fix it?

  • @Bibelforscher77 you "goggled" the facts huh.Did the facts protect your eyes while you flew your WW1 vintage biplane?

  • @mostghost99 Thanks.

Then with your permission — I googled the facts.

Still, your comment lacks accuracy and credibility.

Is that your best or do you want to fix it?

  • @Bibelforscher77 The Branch Davidians who died at Waco, Texas, under the leadership of David Koresh also trace their roots to the same Seventh Day Adventists and Millerite source as the Jehovah's Witnesses, who likewise, trace their roots back to the Adventists. But they do not often admit this to outsiders; nor do many Witnesses know the details themselves Jehovah's Witnesses trace their origins to the nineteenth century Adventist movement in the year 1816..PLEASE GET HELP CULT MEMBERS

  • @mostghost99 “Jehovah’s Witnesses offered a challenge to the totalitarian concept of the new society. . . The time-honoured methods of persecution, torture, imprisonment and ridicule were not resulting in the conversion of any Witnesses to the Nazi position. . . Jehovah’s Witnesses brought morally to their knees the might of that Gestapo power.”—Christine King, 1982

  • @Bibelforscher77 The New York Times: "The cases of convicted child rapists [in Jehovah's Witnesses] is far different than in the Catholic church, where most of the people accused of abuse are priests and victims were boys and young men. In the Jehovah's Witnesses, where congregations are often collections of extended families, some of those accused are elders, but most are congregation members. The victims who have stepped forward are girls and young women, and many accusations involve incest

  • @mostghost99 You botched the quote of the NYT. However, regarding your “The cases of convicted child rapists [in Jehovah's Witnesses] is far different than in the Catholic church,”

Indeed, about 4% of the 110,000 U. S. Catholic priests,1950-1992, had been accused of sexual misconduct involving children.

In the United States, over 80,000 elders currently serve in over 12,800 congregations. During the last 100 years, 11 elders have been sued for child abuse in U S lawsuits. = .01375%

  • @mostghost99 "but most are congregation members"

lying and misquoting wont buy your way into heaven, please get help.

  • @mostghost99 Insurance companies offer sexual misconduct coverage to churches. Their studies indicate that Catholic clergy are not higher risk than Protestant clergy—about 4%.

Also, experts estimate the rate of sexual abuse by the Catholic/Protestant male church members between 2 and 5 times higher.

So 5 times the Witness “elder rate” of .01375% = 0.06875% “congregation member rate” — 290 times less than the Protestant/Catholic “member rate“.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Jehovahs witnessess ARE a totalitarian truth. If they challenged a rival totalitarian group it was perhaps because it recognised its own reflection.

  • @empirical111 Yeah. Its sad and Ironic isn’t it. What happened to that sense of right and wrong? that democratic steadfastness, those displays of humanity, standing up for those of a different political or ideological opinion Virtues indeed. I agree. But why was that compassion and tolerance not maintained beyond the Nazi camps and prisons and introduced as constant policy Showing compassion to humans who have different ideological opinions, or those humans who are just different.

  • @jessie68ful Jehovah’s Witnesses based their resistance to Nazi regime on their Christian convictions including political neutrality, humanitarian values, and aversion to violence. Despite the drastic and rapid reordering of society, Witnesses then and now, develop empathy and compassion for others through their outreach evangelizing work, which encourages values clarification and perspective taking.

  • @empirical111 Really.See WT publication “You Can Live Forever In Paradise On Earth.” On pg25-26 of the book is their opinion of the Jews. “Was God really their father? Did God accept their form of religion? Not at all!”... Jews are “from their father the Devil, and they wish to do his desires.” The Jewish religion “served the interest of the Devil. ”And they concluded that because of their evil, the Jews “were on the way to destruction".

  • @jessie68ful More incompetence.

Yours: ‘…because of their evil, the Jews “were on the way to destruction”.

On p. 26: “So Jesus Christ did not teach that all religions are simply different roads leading to the same place of salvation. [ … ] Jesus said: “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it…”

    (Matthew 7:13, 14)

  • @jessie68ful Incompetence con‘t.

Yours: Jews are “from their father the Devil, and they wish to do his desires.”

On p. 26: “And Jesus told them so, saying: ’You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. (John 8:44)”

    +

Yours: The Jewish religion “served the interest of the Devil.”

On p. 26: “Clearly, the religion of the Pharisees was false. It served the interest of the Devil.”

  • @jessie68ful Typically incompetent. In a simple citation of less than a 500 characters you make 9 fundamental errors.

In place of context, you added distortion.

On p. 25: “When Jesus Christ walked the earth, there was a religious group known as the Pharisees. […] Jesus told them, ‘You do the works of your father.’ In answer they said: ‘We have one Father, God.’ (John 8:41) Was God really their father? Did God accept their form of religion? Not at all!”

  • @empirical111 I really dont know what you are talking about. Why all this fighting? I like that Lennon song. God is Love. Beyond that, right now. Well its like school and gangs, the Watchtower gang vs the.. not the WT gang. Its boring. Its not Godly its a place to say "I am he who follows he that is mighty and good and master of all- to infinity and beyond" I think this its right and so do the other um ..people who are in my gang of enternal travellers. Ive had it. U win praise u

  • @empirical111 Hey sorry to get off the narrow path of those who may be deserving of life and those who clearly are idiots and not deserving at all!. Its a v emotive subject as Im sure ul understand and I do hope u are and u stay on -The bright side of the road. But Its a good video though isnt it. What do you think of it... The Jehovah's witnesssess and mental illness?

  • @jessie68ful If offered, I will accept your apology for your several false, ugly, malicious, Stasi-like accusations.

  • @empirical111 You are funny. Thank you for your noble offer of being open to receive an apology from me. But my superior at Stasi HQ informs me that to offer an apology at this time is just not an option. :P

  • @jessie68ful Do you want me to sort out this Dr. Jerry Bergman video for you or do you again prefer to defer to your Stasi superior?

  • @empirical111 oh go on then...sort out Gerry. Do you know what I find so upsetting about the Jw standpoint, you may say its bible based and therefore ok. But df makes me shudder. Its too harsh and unfair to break up families. That kind of action is seriously damaging to everyone, all the congregation, even those who watch it, enforce it even. As it could happen to them too. Doesn’t this create a huge fear. I recall seeing pre-teens at the KH and hoping so much that they obey.

  • @jessie68ful Surely you jest. “df makes [you] shudder; Doesn’t this create a huge fear?” On my list of ‘100 Morbid Fears‘, df would be somewhere between #133 and #187. In your day-to-day perspective of “huge fears” do you “shudder” in pervasive fear of war, famine, pestilence, violence, loss, false accusation, etc? Not likely. That being so, surely then we would expect that no rational person would “shudder” in morbid fear of an event totally within their power to prevent.

  • @empirical111 No. I don’t jest. But if one views life as prep for a huge battle of Armageddon- just around the corner. What matter is being able to have contact with family? everything’s inconsequential in that setting isn’t it. Hope you manage to hold onto important relationships while you wait for the end.

  • @jessie68ful So you’re serious then. Which one? Is it: Day after day, you actually “shudder” because of potential “huge fears” like war, famine, disease, earthquakes, violence, serious injury, etc? Or is it: You really believe that rational people suffer day after day in morbid fear of some unlikely event totally within their power to prevent.

  • @empirical111 Not sure which fear you are talking about? So much fear, world ending, loving relationships ending? Not having food or having an illness. ? Anyway uve a surfeit of fear options provided in your portable spiritual lunchbox and I’m sure it will sustain u till the glorious end. Meantime -I will tell you what I’m frightened of, what I consider to be a dangerous aspect of human nature. A lack of empathy and a burning desire part of an elite pure (imaginary) group.

  • @jessie68ful Your opinion is identical to that promoted by Stasi (Worse than the Gestapo.—NYT) propaganda in East Germany 1970s -1980s. Concocted by means of distorted quotations, references from the Nazi press, and Gestapo interrogations/assessments. The Stasi-Gestapo-Nazi conclusions have been embraced by critics of Jehovah’s Witnesses including the likes of American neo-Nazi groups.—Garbe, Between Resistance & Martyrdom, 2008

  • @Bibelforscher77 ah so its a hall of mirrors then? where the qualities of the Stasi/ Gestapo/ Nazi what other hate groups did you twin my opinion with? American neo-Nazi groups etc. My. It’s a veritable dazzling lazer show here, words r bouncing off the all the shallow surfaced glass. Now Im like the Stasi (worse than the Gestapo ;) and none of the fore mentioned groups, myself included; tho I’m only one. Is not half as liberating & freedom fighting as the watchtower. Amazing.

  • so this guy thinks jws shuld live like everybody else?? fornicate lie steal?? stupid.. jus so u kno and dont forget it. unless u comebak to jws ur guna die in armageddon and u kno it

  • @96civicb20 It is not to sin it is to be free from:

    The high level of control

    Control of time

    The situation of disfellowshiping

    Control over family association

    control of information

They live for you, they treat people like robots

  • @96civicb20 you are a moron to belive in the fairytale they feed you ar are you one of the feeders?

dont forget people with hearts find you wolves in sheeps clothing. your deeds speak louder than your shallow empty threats i hope you are parralised in a horrible accident that takes your rights to move and you have to rely on other people who are not of your cult just to eat whipe your own backside yes and i hope you see this as the ultimate saccrafice to your god satan the devil.

  • @96civicb20 your comment is mean, and cruel...No need for that because you cannot decide or know for 100% what will God Jah, do in that day...We can only assume because of what the Bible states...

  • I am glad I left the JW! I feel free and I can think for myself.

  • Could someone turn off that tape recorder. It's set on "repeat" Anyone know why Jesus said that He shared His glory with the Father before the world was (John 17:5), considering that Isaiah 42:8 says "I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I NOT give to another..." ? If God's glory is reserved only for Him, and Jesus said that He had it with Him before the world was, who is Jesus? Answer that and I'll go away.

  • Good excuse, or what? If Bib 77 is so sure their dealing with someone so incompetant, why not tear me apart with their (?) superior grasp on theology? The whole Watchtower Society is backing you up. It doesn't matter how much one loves and serves the Lord, according to JWs, you are part of the Christaindom lie. They believe Jesus returned in 1914 and is guiding them from some place halfway between heaven and earth. Jesus said ALL eyes would see Him at second coming.

  • @55k3v1n's “weird vibes” mind likens his explicit rejection of empirical reality to ‘incompetence’. They’re not even close. Is hope like hopeless? Is sense like senseless? Is probably like impossibly?

Note his morally reprehensible suggestion—a personal assault on “someone so incompetant [sic]”

As for his redundant, malicious gossip, eight pages back 55k3v1n was invited to sort the reality from his rancor. Little wonder the nature of his response.

  • I will no longer respond directly to Bib 77 as they have once again sidetracked away from the scriptural challenges. If you want to study the cult-like tactics typically used by adherents of a pseudo-Christain false religion, just examine their last posting. Then go back posting by posting to see this continuous trend. The JW cult can sound very convincing, but crumble when facing serious challenges

  • @55k3v1n explained why that he did INDEED DENY THE OBJECTIVE RESEARCH. Because, in his own words, “I can feel the weird vibes …” So, in 55k3v1n’s mind his “weird vibes” supersedes the empirical reality. ANYONE, how is a Bible discussion with such a person even remotely possible?

  • Notice the bib 77 accusations of rejecting objective, yada yada yada... They still haven't used objective reasoning to address the scriptures supporting the divinity of Jesus Christ. They deliberately redirect your focus away from the challenges they simply cannot answer to. Please look back at previous posts to see their evasive tactics. Don't let them lure you away from this site to a more isolated site where they can begin the brainwashing process..

  • @55k3v1n, did you forget that you did in fact reject the objective research? Just two pages back. See there that I asked, “So, your conclusion is (just to clarify): You do indeed believe Bergman’s video; AND YOU DO INDEED DENY THE OBJECTIVE RESEARCH?“

    .

And you answered: “YES I DO: …”

  • @ANYONE.

RATIONAL: In its oldest, broadest, and deepest sense, is a matter of having good reasons for one’s beliefs and actions. (Moshman, 2011) Was 55k3v1n able to give good reasons for his ever disgraceful behavior? Also, note his explicit rejection of objective (empirical, factual, real, verifiable unbiased, neutral, just, fair, judicial, open-minded) research. Does ANYONE want this person representing your faith?

  • If anyone would like to get an idea on how the JWs play the AD (artful dodger) role read the back and forth that has gone on over the last hundred or so posts. This false cult will avoid any challenge you throw at them regarding their claim to superiority. They insult everyone, irregardless of their love for the Lord, because they don't yield to the Watchtower dictatorship and the sacriligious New World Bible translation. They want to lure you away from this site to feed you poisonous lies.

  • CULT. nuff said

  • You and the other 76 need psychiatric help, and quick! You avoid biblical-based challenges to your claims of superiority over all other Christain faith systems. You rewrote the bible in an effort to support your false beliefs. And instead of trusting God's word you put all your trust in The Watchtower and its lies. Then you steer all attention away from legitimate challenges to your claims by redirecting it towards Dr. Jerry Bergman, who has all of you figured out to a T. It's obvious to all!

  • @ANYONE. Unless you too deny empirical evidence, I’d be happy to discuss 55k3v1n’s delusional claims in the order as they appear in the paragraph below--you choose the venue.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Right here. Let's go! Let's discuss the verses I gave to support the divinity of Christ.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Why does the venue have to be someplace other than here, boys? You can't possibly expect to lure ANYONE to one of your stakes where all 77 of you can ram your cultic beliefs down his throat until, like a suspect after 20 straight hours of interrogation, finally breaks down. Notice, ANYONE, how the 77 will avoid responding to reasonable challenges to their claims right here for everyone to see. They only want to discuss whether their cult causes mental illness, or not.

  • @ANYONE, unless you too deny empirical evidence, I’d be happy to discuss 55k3v1n’s four latest delusional claims in addition to his earlier five in the order as stated. And, contrary to 55k3v1n’s several false assumptions your choice of venue would obviously include this one.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Okay. Name all the false assumptions and delusional claims. And please be very specific and give detailed responses to the assumptions. I hope you specifically address the scriptural challenges. And my name isn't ANYONE.

  • @55k3v1n At your request then, “specific and detailed“. The total of “all [your] false assumptions and delusional claims“ exceeds 35 in addition to your latest 11. Beginning with your “And my name isn't ANYONE”. Evidently you assumed that you were included in, or addressed as ANYONE. You were not. No one thinks your name is ANYONE.

  • @Bibelforscher77 My inbox includes a reply from you. I come to this site and only see a reply to ANYONE. How about those scriptures?

  • @55k3v1n FADC #41: Despite the obvious, you falsely assumed that the venue of choice “[had] to be someplace other than here”.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Same old same old. Can't you just simply take a scripture used to prove the divinity of Christ and respond to it?

  • @55k3v1n

  • @55k3v1n You have a very short attention span or you’re oblivious to the obvious. Just two days ago you specifically requested that I, “Name all the false assumptions and delusional claims.” Now you’re complaining.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Bye bye. I've had enough of this silliness.

  • Does everybody see how Biebelforscher (who in fact are a team of JWs) avoids any doctrinal-based challenges made on this public web site. He (they) are using the same tactics of all JWs on this site by luring you to some more private pro-JW site so they can safely indoctrinate the naive.

  • @55k3v1n What do you conclude after comparing your defense of the “orthodox teachings of [your] faith.” to relevant research?

  • @Bibelforscher77 Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a form of mental illness . The Bibelforschor Watchtower gang appear to be proving the video to be very true indeed.

  • @55k3v1n So, your conclusion is (just to clarify): You do indeed believe Bergman’s video; and you do indeed deny the objective research?

  • @Bibelforscher77 Yes I do: you are living proof of it. I can feel the weird vibes emanating from all 77 of you.

  • Note that in 55k3v1n's mind, his “weird vibes” supersedes objective (empirical, factual, real, verifiable unbiased, neutral, just, fair, judicial, open-minded) research. The source of his irrational hostility is manifest. Do you want this person representing your faith?

  • if you would really like to know the truth about Jehovah's Witnesses and NOT listen to videos like this one that LIE and spread untruths about Jehovah's Witnesses feel free to click on my username and see for your self the wonderful message and hope that we lovingly share with everyone on our Earth. Have a Wonderful Day.

  • @ijehovahswitness You JW's always try to draw your prey away to some site where you can indoctrinate them without having to deal with the kinds of challenges you would have to face in a public setting like this. Why the need to hide from public scrutiny? As a Christain I have no problem whatsoever defending the orthodox teachings of my faith in any setting.

  • @55k3v1n Are any of your comments here at this site apart from “the orthodox teachings of [your] faith“?

  • @Bibelforscher77 What else is there to discuss on this site? JWs claim to be the real deal and all others will be "annihilated" in blissful soul sleep for all eternity. You make those claims, you can expect scripture-based challenges. Notice the "am" is in italics int he following verse "...if ye believe not that I AM (he), ye shall die in your sins" The translators thought the verse more made sense if the word "he" was added in . Compare with John 8:58. Believing Jesus is I AM is essential.

  • @55k3v1n So all of the comments that you have made at this site represent the “orthodox teachings of [your] faith.”?

  • @Bibelforscher77 It's both the orthodox teachings of "my" faith and the faith of all bible-believing Christains. There are hundreds of millions of us.

  • @55k3v1n And you “have no problem whatsoever defending” all of the comments that you have made at this site?

  • @Bibelforscher77 Nope. I've given all the biblical references necessary so you can check them out yourself. Unless, of course, you don't believe in the word of the living God.

  • @55k3v1n In one of your comments at this site, you wrote “… many end up in mental institutes as per youtube's [Bergman’s] message above.” Is your trust in Dr. Bergman well-founded, defensible?

  • @Bibelforscher77 I wouldn't be surprised if many JWs end up in mental institutes. It's a very common outcome for people involved in a very legalistic religion. The sense that one must earn their salvation by measuring up to the standards set forth by the Watchtower Society. If salvation is a free gift of God then there's no reason to be a member of an isolated self-exalting sect. Freedom allows real Christains to fellowship with each other irregardless of the denomination they belong to.

  • Comment removed

  • @55k3v1n What will any reasonable person conclude after comparing your defense of the “orthodox teachings of [your] faith.” to relevant research?

  • @KarmaFlu Read your bible and stop SLAMMING those who do.

  • Spiritual Resistance of Christian Conviction in Nazi Germany: The Case of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Yonan, Journal of Church and State,1999):

“Without the example of this steadfast Christian group [Jehovah’s Witnesses] under the oppression of the National Socialist dictatorship, we would —after Auschwitz and the Holocaust—have to doubt whether it is at all possible to fulfill the Christian teachings of Jesus.”

  • The highest rate of suicide is among psychiatrists.

Jonah was a true prophet, who's prophecy seemed to "fail" making him look like a false prophet. Ours hit one over the top. We hit the year, season, and the main event in order of the four horsemen. War.

It has unfolded slower than thought, but exactly as thought. It will commence before earth succumbs to man. Regards.

  • Jehovah's witness demanded that I have a sex-change! How cruel, uncaring and uneducated.

  • @InverJaze The ONLY way I can think of for Jehovah's Witnesses to tell you to have an operation to change your sex would be to change it BACK to the original sex you were born as. They would NEVER tell you unless that is the case, for sure, ok?

  • @eternityandforever I was born as both male and female, my father decided and got it wrong, later when I could speak and understood what had befallen me I put it right... This fly's in the face of the scripture 'He created them Male and Female' when it should have been he created them male, female, hermaphrodite, transgendered GAY and straight. So what I state is true.

  • @InverJaze while in no place to understand the journey you have been on ...I do not think your birth circumstances "flies in the face"of the scripture you quoted or has any valid substance to disprove it..... All it does is show that you were born diffrent some children were born with no arms and legs does that disprove it too?no it shows birth defects......

  • @itsarationalgospel Thanks for your comment. I note perhaps there is some point where WE all have to accept we are born with defects! If we accept that sin is falling short of perfection, that a ransom was paid for 'ALL to be saved and not perish', then Jehovah’s witnesses have no right to exclude any who show faith! No judgment is not by man but by Jehovah's appointed judge Jesus.

  • @InverJaze You are right, but don't get drawn into this false cult. Just simply confess to God that you are a sinner, you are sorry for your sins and are willing to change. Believe that Jesus paid the full costs for your sins when He shed His blood and died on the cross. Ask Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior and to help you live for Him. The Holy Spirit at that point will come into your life and your new life will begin. You will then be eternally saved!

  • @55k3v1n To anyone knowledgeable of the truth, your anti-Witness comments here are clearly irrational— more malicious gossip than anything else. Perhaps you are unaware of the facts. Perhaps you prefer to remain so.

    .

Let us sort the reality from the rancor. Let’s begin with your, “… many end up in mental institutes as per youtube's [Bergman’s] message above” Is your trust in Dr. Bergman well-founded?

    .

  • @Bibelforscher77 It's hard not to be sickened by the arrogance of you Russelites. You don't even want to build bridges with others who love and serve the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please explain something for the readers. Why did the Jews pick up stones to stone Jesus when He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM"? When Moses asked God His name, He relied, "I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you" (Ex. 3:13,14).

  • @Bibelforscher77 The Jews also planned to kill Jesus because saying that God was His Father made Him equal with God. (Jn. 5:18) In this light, it becomes clear as to why the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus in Jn. 8:58. Jesus was killed for the crime of blasphemy. He never once went out of His way to clarify to His accusers that He was not equal with God. Are you aware of these facts?? Nothing you can say can explain them away.

  • @55k3v1n “Let us sort the reality from the rancor“, extends my hand to yours. In fact, this post represents my fourth personal attempt to build a bridge between us. Your last post to me began with venom and digressed.

    .

You can do better. So again, Is your trust in Dr. Bergman well-founded?

    .

—On topics and subjects remote from Dr. B’s theme, just PM Bibelforscher77’s channel . There I welcome all relevant reasoned discussion, questions and comments on any subject, including the Trinity.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Nah, let's just ease up a bit and keep the discussion right here for everybody to see. Let's start with you giving the JW position on the verses I presented in my last 2 posts. Why did the Jews pick up the stones? Trying to draw me away from this site is a typical tactic of JWs, so they can avoid difficult challenges. Please read my posts carefully and try not to go off on some other tangent, but just answer the specific questions. Thanks.

  • @55k3v1n First, don’t you agree that you should apologize for your “sickening … ” response to my “extended hand”? I’ll know it to be sincere if you include your answer to— Is your trust in Dr. Bergman well-founded?

  • @Bibelforscher77 My "Nah" had nothing to do with your offering a handshake, but your invitation to your "77 channel". Sorry for by-passing the handshake. The 77 channel is what you probably meant by "a handshake". I still see that as a tactic used to avoid discussing the issue I brought up in this particular forum. So, anyways, how about John 5:18?

  • @55k3v1n,1st Check your channel. Now, would you like to try that apology again? I’ll know it to be sincere if you include your answer to— Is your trust in Dr. Bergman well-founded?

  • @Bibelforscher77 I don't open messages emailed to me due to danger of viruses, worms, etc. Anything you have to say can be said right here on this site. I don't give a hoot about Dr. Bergman. Why is this so complicated? John 5:18 + 8:58 + let's add 10:30-33. The unbelieving Jews wanted to stone Jesus for identifying Himself with the GREAT I AM of Exodus 3:13,14 (John 8:58,59). they sought to kill Him for equating Himself with God (John 5:18;10:30-33). Jesus never denies there accusations.

  • @55k3v1n Do you “give a hoot” about sorting reality from your rancor? Your rancor as in your, “many end up in mental institutes as per youtube's [Dr. Bergman’s] message above."

  • @Bibelforscher77 You must be having a lot of trouble coming up with a compelling response to my simple challenge put forth in my last six postings. It's an embarassment that you have managed to sidestep a simple theological discussion. Remember, it was you who claimed to belong to an organization that boasts of being the only true representation of God. You even managed to come up with a bogus bible translation to support your false beliefs. Is there anybody else out there following this??

  • @InverJaze Wow, I saw a show once where I saw a woman/man and she/he said she is a 'Ze'. She looked more like a woman so I'll refer to her that way. She had breasts so that's why I figured she was a woman. She said she still had both private parts of male and female and had a hard life. I have read that MOST of these babies (about 1 in a million born are 'Ze') usually get the penis taken off because she will grow breasts, looking female. This is a part of imperfection-Adams sin brough this on.

  • @InverJaze Hi. First, I am on your side and not on the side of the JW! As a Christian I can tell you that creating humanity 'male and female' simply means that humanity is just that - both male and female. Therefore one cannot be 'hermaphrodite or 'transgendered' unless male and female existed in the first place. However, what IS appalling is using a wrong and misguided interpretation of scripture to justify homophobia and other prejudices. God bless you.

  • I was asked to have a sex-change by the Jehovah's witnesses elders! How uncaring, and evil.

  • @KarmaFlu You actually feel comfortable calling a slave of Jesus Christ a lamo? Are you at all serious about God? Where is your faith? Jesus used the bible as his authority. He always said,"It is written". By the same merit we preach from the bible, and you call us names? We are serious modern day disciples of our Lord, Jesus Christ. WE study his ways closely and follow his every command. This is no joke. This is real. Daniel 12:4 says true knowledge would become abundant-IT IS NOW! We're here..

  • I wonder if you would have been involved in a Catholic Church. Would you now be going on and on about all of their mental health issues? Or perhaps Baptist, or Mormon's. Maybe you would have dicovered they are EVEN MORE troubled than JW's. You do not prove any other studies from other religions, only attacking JW's. There is no other evidence presented, or cases from your own study, that prove JW's are more depressed from being a Witness, vs. because they are stressed from this evil world!

  • Blood transfusions pass AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, and also carry the DNA. Do you want someone else's DNA running and controlling your bodily functions? Male hormones and DNA into a female would really confuse that woman's body quite a bit. Acts 15:20,"...abstain from blood...The apostle Paul said. Acts 15:29,"...keep abstaining from blood...Good health to you!" READ Genesis 9:4, "Only flesh with its soul-it's blood-you must not eat." 1 Samuel 14:32,33. Taking in blood is a sin.

  • @eternityandforever You need to do your homework! A blood transfusion will pass the HIV virus that is true. However as far as the male hormones of a donor into a female and affecting her is not true. Bodily functions? that is totally bogus. I am a former JW and a licensed health care professional in a critical care situation and trauma unit in a major city.

  • @arthurgd1 You are injecting people's hormones which are in the blood into a totally different person. A female's hormones are in fact, in her blood. Where do you think hormones are? You do not think hormones affect the body? Did you really go to school? Think again....What city are you in so I can be sure not to end up in that trauma unit????

  • @eternityandforever I guess we can conclude that one should avoid having sex with even your spouse, because there's a chance AIDS will be passed onto you. How about a blood transfusion from your spouse? Pauls talking about drinking human blood as part of a religious ceremony. Nobody would have drank blood for any other reason back then.

  • @55k3v1n -In Leviticus Chapter 19 it also says you must eat nothing along with blood (verse 26) and not look for omens or practice magic. verse 28 says not to make cuts in YOUR flesh or put tattoo markings upon yourselves. These are serious things to God. Leviticus 3:17,"YOU must not eat any ..blood at all."Leviticus 17:13,"pour it's blood out and cover it with dust." This rule was followed at Ezekiel 24:7. Deuteronomy 12:16," Only the blood YOU must not eat.Blood is sacred.Deuteronomy 12:22-25.

  • @eternityandforever That's got nothing to do with blood transfusions. Instead of draining the blood of a slaughtered animal in a cup and drinking it, pour it on the ground and cover it with dirt. Don't cut your skin causing blood to flow like Satanists do even today. Receiving a blood transfusion is not eating blood. If the doctor told you to drink the blood with your mouth, not too many would agree to that. Please don't let your baby die over this misinterpretation.

  • @eternityandforever

Actually, you're wrong. JWs are tragicall wrong!! All your quotes come from the Levitical or Deuterocanonical Law. Christians do not need abide by these laws - or you would be circumcised, not eat pork, not wear two differennt cloths and stone adulterers. After Peter's vision all food is good to eat - including blood. The only reference in the NT is Paul's warning not to offend new Jewish converts by eating blood in their presence.

  • @55k3v1n You can conclude anything you wish, but I will stick to the bible,as Jesus taught to.Paul mentioned nothing of any ceremony as you claim. He talked about abstaining from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled, and from blood-Acts 15:20. Vs. 29 says,"....Good health to YOU! So your health is definitely involved in abstaining from blood. OPEN YOUR EYES, come on, wider, a little more now, you can do it, come on, open your eyes to the truth.DO NOT EAT BLOOD!

  • @eternityandforever Receiving a blood transfusion can only be confused with eating blood if you've erroneously come to that conclusion as part of an organization that prides itself on being error free. It's like celebrating birthdays being equated with paganism! So your children feel all out of place because other students in their classroom want to sing "Happy Birthday" and share some cake and they are forbidden to join in. This legalism insults the finished work of Christ on the cross.

  • Jesus said there is only one path to the truth..READ Matthew 7:13,14, .."few are the ones finding it." JW's are the only ones following Jesus Christ today. They are obedient to Jesus when he taught his disciples to preach the good news of God's Kingdom. They follow Matthew 6:9,10, keeping God's name hallowed, or holy, using and honoring his Most Holy Name-JEHOVAH. We are witnesses that Jehovah is God! We keep separate from the world as Jesus taught. READ John 17:16. James 4:4. 1 John 5:19.

  • @eternityandforever The few who find the true path are those who recognize their need for a savior, believe Jesus is that savior and believe He paid the full price for their sins when he willingly died sacrificially. They believe God raised Jesus from the dead and that He is alive today. They surrender their lives to the Lord and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit which results in a dramatic transformation in their lives. They are thankful to God + love Him and begin to live for + serve Him.

  • @55k3v1n What is your point? Jehovah's Witness research, study, follow Jesus exactly as he taught. No ifs, no ands, and also,no buts... We just put effort into making sure we don't miss anything he said. We follow each and every commandement he gave, we follow all of his laws, and we read and study all of his parables. We preach the WORD to the WHOLE WORLD! This is per his direct instructions in Matthew Chap.10, Luke Chap.10. No other religion is doing this. WE teach God's name=Jehovah-Matt.6:9,10

  • @eternityandforever Your arrogance and self-righteousness is nauseating. Paul wrote, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and NOT of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN BOAST. So you follow the law perfectly? Never once stumbled? Ever lie? God's free gift of salvation results in a grateful heart and a resulting desire to live for Him. You actually think others don't make every effort to research and study God's word (not the New World translation + Watchtower).

  • @eternityandforever Your superiority complex sounds so similar to the nationalism of the Nazis and the old Japanese belief of being the chosen ones under the god-emporer. It sounds like the narcissistic babblings of the mentally ill (see youtube video above). Being part of an organization doesn't save you. Being redeemed by the shed blood of Christ does. God's word is written so all can understand its essential message, without first checking with the Watchtower Society for approval.

  • @55k3v1n WE are modern-day disciples of Jesus Christ. We have no "superior complex" you are talking about. WE follow Jesus Christ Our Dear Lord in Heaven. WE follow his EVERY law, command, and teaching we can find in the bible. We LISTEN to Jesus and make more disciples as per his instructions at Matthew chapt.10, 24:14, 28:19,20, Luke chap.10, Acts 1:8,5:42,20:20. We preach the good news that God's Kingdom is soon coming to earth, bringing in peace=Matthew 5:5, chap.24, 25:31-46,Daniel 2:44,12:4

  • @eternityandforever The people who cry out to God in repentance, proclaim the finished work of redemption by Jesus on the cross, confess Jesus as Lord, believe in their heart that God raised Him (physically) from the dead and invite Him into their lives as Lord and savior are the true Christains. You seem to believe that one must earn salvation by following rules. Why do you ignore the plain teachings of Eph. 2:8,9? We preach the gospel, but that doesn't save us. We do it because we ARE saved.

  • @eternityandforever Yes, you do have a superiority complex. You think erroneously that salvation is not a free gift, but must be earned by joining your organization and following the directives of the Watchtower Society. You can't be trusted to learn God's truth by simply reading His word: you are in bondage. Christ came to set humanity free. His yolk is easy and His burden is light. You place such heavy burdens on people, many end up in mental institutes as per youtube's message above.

  • JW's families are much happier than other families I've seen in the world. Other religions families have many more abusive parents, drunkards, sexual abuse. More unfaithfulness if married, and otherwise more infidelity in relationships. Women are abused so much more physically, and emotional abused. Parents of Jehovah's Witness teach children from the bible."Deuteronomy 4:9, "..make them known to your sons and to your grandsons," Psalms 78:5. JW's Children are truly wise! Sports are violent.

  • I feel that people who who are poor, with health problems, losing loved ones, and many other issues, are more likely to search out God for answers.

Matthew 5:4-10,"Happy are those who mourn..they will be comforted.Happy are those persecuted..the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.JWs are persecuted as Jesus.Jesus was persecuted, disciples would be. John 15:18,20," the world hates you..know... it has hated me before it hated YOU.verse 20,"..they have persecuted me, they will persecute YOU..

  • I think this is very unfair. I see other people with depression problems of different religions, too. We live in a world that is fearful to be in. READ 2 Timothy 3:1-5,",,,in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here..." The world brings alot of S-T-R-E-S-S into people's lives. Money problems, health problems, and other issues abound.... You shouldn't be attacking JW's. They are hopeful because God's kingdom is coming! Matthew 6:9,10.2 Peter 3:13. JW's are good people!

  • @eternityandforever You obviously did not listen to what was said in the video. No one is saying people with depression or mental illness do not exist in other religions. No one is saying people with mental illnesses are not good people. They are talking about JW's having a higher than average number of members with mental illnesses because they are under much stress constantly deferring personal goals and interests life because they are taught to believe Jehovah wants them to in preparation.

  • All the JW-friendly sites will not except comments due to approval pending. I tried to express some questions in a totally non-confrontational, abusive, attacking way and was dismissed. All the comments on the site were ecstatically pro-JW that someone posing some harmless questions would have spoiled the party.

  • @55k3v1n,

    .

I'm "JW friendly" and I’m interested in your questions, harmless or otherwise. All things considered what is your most relevant question?

    .

  • @Bibelforscher77 If I come to recognize that I need a Savior and believe that Jesus paid the full price for my sins when He died on the cross. And I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and that He is alive today. And I have asked Jesus to come into my life and have experienced a dramatic transformation resulting in a desire to live my life for God, then why is that not enough? Why do I need to join an organization that thinks it is the one true "church" (con't)

  • @Bibelforscher77 All that I have done completes what is required in the New Testement. Eph. 2:8, 9 "For by grace ye have been saved through grace; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. It insults what Jesus did on the cross to believe we have somehow earned our salvation. It's a beautiful gift and inspires one to worship and pray to God, serve God and to live a better life. (con't)

  • @Bibelforscher77 (con't) I used to debate with JWs, but have now had second thoughts about that. I work in a nursing home and was friendly with a JW woman who's older friend stayed there. Many Christains, as myself have eagerly served God by reaching out to the destitute living in the poor area of the city and sharing the gospel. I see the dedication JWs have to live for God + serve Him. We both believe that Jesus is the savior, He rose from the dead, etc. but we differ in the finer details.

  • @55k3v1n Actually JWs and Christians do NOT differ in the 'finer details'. The KEY doctrine of the Christian Church, as claimed by Our Lord himself, is that Jesus is Divine, and that a Trinitarian Godhead is Father, Son and Holy Spirit (cf Jesus' great commission at the end of Matthew's gospel). JWs deny this. They regard the Trinity as satanic, refuse to believe in the divinity of Christ, or that he was crucified on a Cross, & all Christianity is in cahoots with satan. Hardly 'finer details'!

  • @MrJayguess Yes, I agree that the JWs are in error on the divinity of Jesus and the trinity. In fact their idea of Jesus being "a god" (John 1:1) goes against "I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God" (Isa. 44:6). They would agree that Jesus is the savior, although "I, even I, am the Lord, beside me there is no savior" (Isa. 43:11). I've personally chased a couple of JWs out of my home, because they couldn't stand to study scriptures that refute their claims. (con't)

  • @MrJayguess (con't) I think it's an insult and wrong to essentially condemn non-JWs, but I don't want to play their game and hurl the same stuff back at them. Strangely, I was getting along pretty well with some JWs visiting a patient at a nursing home I work at. They believe humanity needs a savior. They believe Jesus is the Savior and died for our sins. They believe He rose from the dead. They are definately in error on the details, but I'm not sure how God will judge this in the end. ???

  • @55k3v1n I absolutely agree in the way we should treat JWs. Jesus shows us that we are to love them as our neighbours with an inconditional love as we would love ourselves. That goes without saying. But we SHOULD speak out against their beliefs that they purport to be the 'true' Christian message and which they insist in spreading to gullible people to coerce them too into the cult. If we do not do this, we could be accused of condoning their misguided position.

  • @MrJayguess Hey man, I finally see how right you are. I guess I was just trying to build bridges. You've got to see the back and forth going on between this holier-than-thou JW and myself. I could probably use some of your input.

  • @55k3v1n

However, they do not believe in Jesus as a divine Saviour. Thet do not believe that he died on a Cross. Their theology of his death is very confused and suspect. They do not believe that he rose physically from death. They regard his claim to be divine as false. And to deliberately warp scripture in the New World Translation to lend credence to their misleading beliefs all adds up to one thing. One can hardly call these fundamental errors as peripheral.

  • @MrJayguess It's ridiculous to not believe Jesus died on a cross, but never-the-less they believed He died for our sins (on a torture stake??). I don't know how significant that is. They believe He rose from the dead in a spirit body as opposed to physical. I still see them as people who want to genuinely serve God, irregardless of their shortcomings + arrogance. I just don't know where the line is drawn re: the mercies of God. We may all be surprised in the end. You may be right, though.

  • @55k3v1n

I think if I denied the holocaust and preached this door-to-door there would be serious trouble and rightly so. Yet these people preach equally profound untruths in the guise of Christianity. They are not wrong, merely grossly misguided; it is the leaders of this cult who are the real problem. It would be excusable if these people did not second-guess God and regard all Christians as in cahoots with Satan. As it stands, Christians need to win these people for God.

  • @MrJayguess Charles T. Russel and the Watchtower Society definitely must be held accountable. Their arrogance only brings resentment from those who love the Lord. I feel more for the average JW who have come under the Watchtower's spell. It would best for them to come out from under the heavy burden of legalism. I can see that you feel for the average JW who have a desire to serve God and like you, I agree they need to experience the liberty that only comes from knowing Christ.

  • @55k3v1n MrJayguess cont... the real concern is that these lies, along with the unChristian attitudes to illness and lack of forgiveness in disfellowshipping, is peddled as 'true' Christianity to the gullible and unwary. Christians need to point this out - not only to the vulnerable, but to those drawn into this cult by those who are as much hoodwinked as their intended prey. Christians churches preach (or should) love, forgiveness and acceptance of all - including the vulnerable.

  • @MrJayguess The worst thing is that they claim to be great students of the scriptures, yet they have no response to simple challenges made by some average Christain as myself. They try to lure you away from an open forum such as this site where they think they will gain greater leverage. I hope that anyone reading the postings on this site will come to see the deceptive tactics used to by JWs to avoid responding directly to challenges. The Watchtower Society is the God of the JWs.

  • @55k3v1n Let us sort the reality from your rancor (SRFYR). #8 of 23:

    .

RE your: My "Nah" had nothing to do with your offering a handshake, …”

. —You are mistaken to assume that I thought otherwise.

  • @Bibelforscher77 You're still evading my question. As a Christain, I am open to all questions. No question is too stupid or insulting. You claim to be part of an organization that insists that they alone are the true followers of Jesus Christ, yet you are not prepared to respond to the challenges that you should expect from non-JWs. Jesus said, "...for if ye believe not that I AM, ye shall die in your sins" The "he" was added by translators, because they thought it didn't make sense otherwise.

  • @55k3v1n RE your, “I am open to all questions.” (SFRYR #25 of 28). Really? So far your, “I don't give a hoot…” is the sum and substance of your answers.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Do you not realise how badly you are destroying any validity for your superiority claims by sidestepping some very simple challenges. Respond or just go away. I've had enough of these silly, childish games.

  • @55k3v1n RE your: “Sorry for by-passing the handshake.” (SRFYR #10 of 31)

—Before you leave, don’t you agree that you should apologize for your “sickening … ” response? Note the quotation marks and ellipsis thereby citing your, “It's hard not to be sickened by the arrogance of you Russelites.” ie your version of building bridges.

  • @Bibelforscher77 Your arrogance is sickening. But whats even worse is the way you divert attention away from any attempts to challenge your claims of superiority by acting all insulted and everything. I don't for one minute believe that's the real problem here. If you go way back to my earlier postings you will see that I was the one trying to build bridges. It was you who basically said how JWs were the only ones who truely understood the scriptures and were morally superior to everybody else.
