@JustinU1984 - it was just as bad in Ohio. Even in late June, it only got up to 60F on a couple of days. With a normal of 82F around that time, that was close to a record cold high. I remember the summer of 1992 starting off pretty cold.
That was the fifth and final complete week of summer school, day before the last day in the non-SLDC & personal version.

Chilly! 1992 was just like 2009 in the midwest "year without a summer" 61 during the afternoon even in Detriot with rain midday is unusual
