@tiend15 "Looking better" is all a matter of perspective. But then again, MM8 was built on a 32-bit system (PS1) whereas this was intentionally built to look like a throwback to the old 8-bit games (which were way better). Same as MM10.

Megaman 8 was horrible. Pedophile clowns and voice acting that makes you go "what?" makes it the worst in the series (at least, besides MMII for the Gameboy, i never played that). And don't hate on MegaMan and Bass either, that one was epic. It's in my top 5 favorites.

@SirVG You've got the right idea but just a little nitpick: Megaman 8 was built for the Saturn. The PS1 version was a port. Sony originally didn't want it published on their system but relented to avoid giving Sega a high profile exclusive. But yeah, the graphics reflect the spirit of the game to be sure.

Technicly its Megaman & Bass is 7.5 the fact that the megaman 7 sounds were used and Wily hadn't created tengu man or astro man yet.

WOW now this is what I am talking about, Mega Man's gun sounds like the original one from Mega Man 1. Music is better than recent games, game looks kind of easy though since you only used your gun a few times in a minute. Mega Man is no longer sexist now. I never understood why the mega buster has energy even though it was never used.

@kidistight Yeah, they changed all the sound effects starting with MM3 (one of the reasons I didn't like that game at the time as much as MM1 and 2, and it still doesn't feel quite "right" to me). MM9 and 10 use the original sound effects from the first two games, especially MM2.

But yeah, Splash Woman barely makes a ripple, Concrete Man just isn't hard enough, Galaxy Man is a speck of dust, insignificant in comparison to everything, Jewel Man just doesn't shine, Plug Man can go stick it, Magma Man ain't so hot, and Hornet Man is a pathetic little insect.
