Of course no one can replace Freddie Mercury, he's a legend for gods sake! But, actually it was Freddie's wish that Queen would keep playing, and Paul Rodgers is just singing Queen's songs, in shortage of a singer of the band. It's not about to replace Freddie Mercury with someone who's trying to be better than him, because no one can! It's just about to keep Queens songs alive, so that everyone who wants to can listen to their songs even though they had the misfortune to miss the real Queen.<3

NO he is so not. He does not have Freddy's vocal range. He does not have Freddy's vocal power. He does not have Freddy's charisma.

I am not saying they should not make money, I just don't know how anyone can compare the two.

freddie beats rodgers in charisma. he probably beats almost anyone in charisma. however, when comparing vocal range you have to listen to early paul rodgers, he's lost some of it but he's still incredible (all right now by free) they are different but both are good. after all, paul rodgers is nicknamed "the voice."

If you've even taken about 15 or 20 minutes of your time to hear Queen + Paul Rodgers. You'll see that in essence they are a completely new band. Paul is being Paul Rodgers. NOT Freddie Mercury.
