Very impressed with the blade on my Peasant. As you know, the factory edge is a bit rough, but it's almost got what I like to call a "micro serrated" edge that really grips the material to be cut. I spent only about 90 seconds with a fine grit Lansky ceramic rod to get my Svord's edge beautifully sharp. Really impressed with Baker's Peasants, I'd like to pick up the green one also. Thanks for good info.
@ponysoprano Welcome. The Peasants are basically run quickly over with a 120 grit belt. some are good, some not so good. 15 seconds (90 seconds.. hehe) on an 800grit paper just cleaning the edge normally make them hair popping sharp.

No. Thats a Svord Peasant knife. I was using Peasant knife blades in the Original 20 Hikers I made before I got my full tang design made.
