If you listen youay notice that he contradicts himself regarding the majority of homeless people, in one case he describes hisself as a rare example of a homeless person trying to actually improve his life then later he does a doubletake and says that the majority of homeless are worth helping. This bent perspective is common amoung people struggling within themselves as many homeless do. Keep a distant and practical perspective on the truth of a persons situation

Wow, are you one of those people that scapegoat drugs for everything? Drugs didn't put this guy in the situation he's in. Drugs didn't make him a failure at life. HE made those mistakes, and HE is to blame for them.

sometimes it takes a little publicity to get people like this help. There is a girl that works as a cashier at a place I go and I just recently found out (through the newspaper) that she was one of the homeless that lived in the "homeless" park for seven years. Someone gave her a chance and a job and she is now back on her feet. But they shouldnt let the disabled live out on the streets like that. Some people dont want to get off the street, but most would love to get off the street.
