The answer is that while the system is failing our children, it works very well for some adults. These adults include the leaders of the teachers unions. They include the politicians whom the unions reward with their cash and political support. They include the vast education bureaucracies. In business terms, we have a system that rewards the providers and punishes the customers.
"New Jersey is broken and Chris Christie will fix it..." Always the same crap... Bla bla is broken and bla bla will fix it... Till the next "fixer" comes along...
Christie was similarly criticized for his 2007 recommendation of the appointment of The Ashcroft Group, a consulting firm owned by Christie's former superior, the former United States Attorney General John Ashcroft, as a monitor in a court settlement against Zimmer Holdings, an Indiana medical supplies company. The no-bid contract was worth between $28 million and $52 million.
Christie has faced strong criticism for several of the actions and decisions taken by the U.S. Attorney's Office during his tenure; much of the controversy has centered on the several instances in which he awarded lucrative federal monitoring positions in no-bid contracts to friends, supporters, and allies.
We can trust Christie so much more than we could ever trust Corzine, not to mention Christie would leave much more money left in OUR pockets, as opposed to the governments. Hell, Obama's stealing way too much anyway, we ought to save some for ourselves.
A former federal prosecutor Chris Christie running for governor approved the tracking of citizens through their cell phones without warrants while he was head of the U.S. Attorney's Office for New Jersey, civil rights attorneys said Thursday.
With Corzine's approval ratings so low the idea that the he will keep his office is almost laughable. We need someone as governor that will be able to fix the problems that democrats have been creating, and avoiding for so many years. I think this might be our guy.
Christie is a liberal. He's pro choice. He backs gun control and he said its not a crime to be an illeagly allian. Lonegan is a conseritive. Lonegan for governor 2009!
People exspeccially in N.J will probly be turning to the right cause there learning how bad obama the anoited one is. And Newjersyins already know how bad corzine is (He aint nearly as bad as obama)
Well, you may want to learn from our experience out here in California. We knew Arnold was a liberal Republican, but figured he was our only chance to take Sacramento and would be better than a Democrat. He has now exceeded the deficits chalked up by his predecessor, a liberal Democrat. I'm not from New Jersey, but I would advise you to stick to your principles. California just voted against more taxes by 65%. Conservatives do have a chance.
Oh hello. I didn't recognize you without the 'Niners picture next to your name. I was looking at the comments in a page that doesn't display the pictures.
Oh well. I can say from working in Bergen County on the Scott Garrett campaign, that there are a lot of decent Conservatives out there in New Jersey, so I have hope. Blue state Conservatives just have to stop acting like they are all alone and surrounded by libs everywhere, because there are more of them than they know.
I really liked your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed i use a site called Tubeviews . Net It has really done wonders for me, Keep in touch

I hope Steve Lonegan can pull it off and win in a non-republican state.
Christie is in deed a liberal and should be on the democratic ballot.

As much as I agree with your statement, the only Republicans capable of winning statewide office in NJ are moderate Republicans.
