It's been 100+ degrees F with relative humidity of about 80 percent for the last 3 days (here in SE WI just 70 miles north of where John Prine grew up...a typical midwest summer), and it's supposed to coninue for 4 more days...last evening we were trying to decide on a quick and easy summer Sunday supper...so we made homemade enchiladas...(mmm)...I think they were happy as we ate 'em... I know we were smilin' as we enjoyed 'em!!!
That's the John Prine I remember from seeing him in concert in the late 70s/early 80s- needing the occasional prod about how the song or next verse starts.
