  • Can you give me some more info on the servos used? Is there a model or stock number?

  • "9-Ounce" servos? Didn't you mean 9 grams? I have some servos of that weight, and they're referred to as "Nano" Servos.

That aside, I just bought this plane, not realizing that it was a 3-channel (no ailerons) model. I was about to exchange it for a 4-channel, but couldn't find anything comparable in size and price that has 4 channels. A quick Google search brought me to your video, and I would like to thank you for your excellent tutorial, and for convincing me that I can do this modification.

  • If I were to do this, would you recommend cutting a smaller aileron and along with flaps or going with a bigger ailerons but do flaperons

  • Your videos are the best . Thank you.

  • Excellent series of videos. Very helpful. One question though, where did you get the blade for your hotknife? I can't seem to find one anywhere..

  • @tanamus13

A year later, and it doesn't look like anyone else is going to answer... so...

I was going to try bending a piece of 14-gauge (or maybe 12) copper wire, and putting it on a soldering gun similar to the one in the video.

  • how much u charging to bulid one?

  • @justfly60482 lazy bugger

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos! I have been wanting to put alerons on my plane I just didnt know how. I just have one question for you and that is how did you make your hot knife?

  • You just saved me $300.00 . I wass going to go buy a plane with ailerons.

  • Thanks for the informative video.

I have been wanting to do the aileron mod but I didn't want to screw up two or three wings trying.

I would like to shake your hand a say thanks

again. the series of videos have been very informative.

the only thing i have to do now is to go back through the videos and comments to make a shopping list with part numbers.

    thanks again.
