I think you should keep it original and not edited but I think you should talk less. I'm not being horrible, but that's my opinion. Only talk about thinks that are important and don't repeat yourself. Maybe you could practise the video before you make it, so that you are quicker doing it for the real video.
just do the one you feel most comfortable with, dont be swayed by conflicting viewpoints - stick to your own way and others are sure to like it! if they dont, well stuff them. this is you expressing yourself. if you like long vids, then do it. if you feel some vids are too long, then you shorten them, if you feel thats right.

am really lookin forward to your brushes, am lookin for affordable quality brushes, which i hope u can provide, their are other gurus on youtube who've done the same as you, but very expensive to buy which makes it difficult for some of us and personally to me that shows that there no different than the high end brands such as mac. giving us something different and affordable is what most people want xx

I'm 42 and both me and my 11 year old daughter love to watch. I also recently got re-married and decided to go Bollywood fab....used your Bollywood Bride look and EVERYONE commented on how great I looked and who did my makeup. The 16 minute videos, thats us getting ready for work in morning we do it too. I know there is always some negative people, who are looking for something to gripe about and love to find a reason to hack at somebody. You should offer a palette like mac where you can add what you want to them and build them up slowly or all at once. I never buy singles anymore and always buy stuff in palettes, premade or build your own. You should find a way to offer both at the same time. :]

I'm not sure how much more work it would be for you but would it be an option for you to film the long videos and upload it and while its uploading, edit the original file and Label it *Edited* which gives all your viewers both options for them ?

i like the video in the bathrooms, you need to be standing as you are shoing what you are wearing. In any case we like the way you talk, remain like you are, simple, natural, passionate. This is what makes you so different from so many others that try to do like you but can not achieve your success because they are not joyful and simple like you are.
So remain as you are and don't listen too much to people who criticize. It is difficult to please everybody anyway.
i would say dont edit please.If you leave them unedited in longform-the viewer can always skip though and watch the bits and pieces they wish.Where as if you edit them down you leave out bits some people want to see.they just have to take what they get. either way love your vids
I just checked the site for your make-up kits and I'm in love! I have both a question and a little feedback though. First the feedback, I think you should include singles in your eyeshadows AND lip colors as well as customizable palletes. Customizable palletes would allow people like me who maybe can't afford to purchase many products (being 14 and all) while still being able to enjoy some of the looks you have to offer. More importantly I was wondering if you test on animals??? -VERY IMPORTANT

i think you should stick to keeping your video's long as its helpful to those that are just learning - i'v just recently started out with applying my makeup like this and im still learning how to graps it and have taken on aboard alot of the tips you have mentioned in your videos - i learnt of you while watching this morning and iv been a follower of you ever since and i like the fact that the makeup you use is affordable so im loving your vid's - keep up the good work x

am really lookin forward to your brushes, am lookin for affordable quality brushes, which i hope u can provide, their are other gurus on youtube who've done the same as you, but very expensive to buy which makes it difficult for some of us and personally to me that shows that there no different than the high end brands such as mac. giving us something different and affordable is what most people want xx

I LOVE your videos Lauren! Your videos convey the same love of "puttin' on a face" that I've had ever since I can remember and they are incredibly creative. I'm 42 and both me and my 11 year old daughter love to watch. I also recently got re-married and decided to go Bollywood fab....used your Bollywood Bride look and EVERYONE commented on how great I looked and who did my makeup. I told them it was YouTube and Lauren Luke! Keep up the great work lady!!!!

Lauren, I agree with alot of the other responses I see here. Your videos work because you are very natural. You are every woman up there. The 16 minute videos, thats us getting ready for work in morning we do it too. I know there is always some negative people, who are looking for something to gripe about and love to find a reason to hack at somebody. I think you are a very nice and natural gem, don't second guess your self just go out there and shine! Your videos are awesome.

I really love your video's and especially love them because you don't edit and we get to see everything. I Don't mind how long your vids are, I watch them if they are long or short. I think you're fantastic and your videos should be as long as needed. I'd rather have something fully explained so i can replicate it properly rather than something you rushed which i don't understand because there's bits missing. I have to say that i LOVE LOVE LOVE eye make-up! I was never taught properly and had to wing it! You should offer a palette like mac where you can add what you want to them and build them up slowly or all at once. I never buy singles anymore and always buy stuff in palettes, premade or build your own. You should find a way to offer both at the same time. :]

Hey Lauren, I've followed you for a couple of years and i love to watch the long videos your so genuine. I'm not sure how much more work it would be for you but would it be an option for you to film the long videos and upload it and while its uploading, edit the original file and Label it *Edited* which gives all your viewers both options for them ?

i like the video in the bathrooms, you need to be standing as you are shoing what you are wearing. In any case we like the way you talk, remain like you are, simple, natural, passionate. This is what makes you so different from so many others that try to do like you but can not achieve your success because they are not joyful and simple like you are.
So remain as you are and don't listen too much to people who criticize. It is difficult to please everybody anyway.

i would say dont edit please.If you leave them unedited in longform-the viewer can always skip though and watch the bits and pieces they wish.Where as if you edit them down you leave out bits some people want to see.they just have to take what they get. either way love your vids

I just checked the site for your make-up kits and I'm in love! I have both a question and a little feedback though. First the feedback, I think you should include singles in your eyeshadows AND lip colors as well as customizable palletes. Customizable palletes would allow people like me who maybe can't afford to purchase many products (being 14 and all) while still being able to enjoy some of the looks you have to offer. More importantly I was wondering if you test on animals??? -VERY IMPORTANT

Love, love, love these chats, Lauren! To me, it doesn't matter where you are when you do your videos, just be yourself no matter what. That's what really makes the difference, I think. Am very excited about the brush set! As soon as you say they're ready to go, I'm buying my set! It'll be like Christmas morning for me when those come out! The makeup brushes I'm using now are shedding really bad and it's annoying but I'm waiting until yours are ready to buy because I want some good quality ones!
