You can read about Sally in the book View From A Hill by Mark Burgess. I first heard this on a cassette tape that Mark sent me, after I had written a letter to him years ago. I wrote several letters to Mark and Sally over this period and they were always kind enough to reply with hand written letters, and often sent tapes or records by The Chameleons/Sun and Moon of demos/live rehersals etc, out of pure kindness. Lovely people. Amazing music Thank you for the music, and so much more...........
Chameleons' best song and their easiest to play. Just put a capo on first fret and pick an open C chord. Then do it for five minutes thirty-eight seconds.
@tsatm2011 It's not on any of their studio albums, I think it may have been on a live album called Tripping Dogs. Tsatm, does that stand for Sun and the Moon?

I think that this song had a different title on the record 'here today, gone tommorow' although you can clearly hear him say sally in the chorus.
