What the hell is a paradiddle? I play drums and this is the first I've heard of them.. And this video sucks.

I definitely do NOT agree with the negative comments here...for those who put down this video (and drummer) - please consider that when YOU were starting out playing drums, your skills were not super proficient...your time-keeping was probably off, and you may have initially had difficulty learning to play a paradiddle, etc...each drummer can be somewhere between beginner level and (e.g.) Dave Weckl and can learn new things...I appreciate this video (and I started playing in 1973)...

I did the same thing to my ride. Often if you brake it it sounds really good.
