the E-revo Will smoke that baja in a 60 foot because the e-revo is electric will gives it a better response time than a nitro/gas... but in the long run baja wins
@zanrath12345 you are 100 percent wrong noob. Wither your a newbie, a troll or just plain dumb. If you really believe that, you have no experience with these two vehicles.
@ryanrummler how was i being a troll? I was just saying what i think. I have owned a baja, T-maxx 3.3 , and Currently own a Rustler Vxl. An AWD Electric sure as takes off faster than a baja, and i would put money on that. ANd I'm damn sure there is no reason for you to be calling me a fucking troll or newbie when i've had much experience with both vehicles. And who the fuck says noob anymore unless your playing a video game... really sad
everyone seems to forget that no matter how much speed or gearing the e revo has that the baja still has over 20 times the power and can do 45 mph at the same time
Give that baja a 30.5cc ESP ported stuffed crank engine, a ddm dominator pipe and a high performance carb and it will smoke the revo with any setup, any day
@TheBajaBoy97 Have you ever had a Baja and a Brushless Revo? I got them both and however...the Baja will never reach the E-Revo with the Brushless Power.
Give that baja a 30.5 cc ESP ported stuffed crank engine with a domminator pipe and high performance carb and it will smoke the revo with any motor and battery setup and day
I have a stock E Revo. Recently mine started to just take off and glitch. I drove it today, it started off fine, then after a while it started to take off.(I picked it up because it was going full throttle and I turned it off.) I don't want it to take off in a brick wall. I did accidently leave the remote on all night. But I changed the batteries once I saw the little light on it blinking. After that it has been acting up. Please help!!
electrics suck because you only get like 20 minutes from a decent battery and then it needs to recharge for 1.5 hours, a nitro (if tuned right ) can compete with a brushless, and when the batteries on the electric go dead you can just refill the nitro and keep on running. (and if your a bit handy you can install a small brushed motor on the flywheel of the nitro and use it as an alternator)
@boostercorp My brushless emaxx lasts 45 minutes and takes 45 minutes to charge. No need to tune and far more speed and torque. Top spec Revo would never catch E-Revo. And whenever you flip the nitro truck, you always gotta hurry to turn it back over. I've had nitro and electric. Gone are the days when Nitro owners could look down on electric owners and boast superiority. Too noisy, too dirty and more expensive in the long run. Even my old evader can take on a 3.3 T-Maxx.
@EssexMustang i'm not going to argue with you but from experience i know electrics are more expensive in the long run because if you run in wet weather alot you'll fry your esc ,kill lipo's ,and with brushed motors you'll need to keep you brushes in top order to get some performance.and with nitro you dont need to spend money every 5 runs for a new set of batteries and no need to wait 45 minutes for the battery to charge...
@EssexMustang while you still have to tune nitro and its dirty (wuss) they can still outrun every brushless car if you tune it well use high quality fuel and maintain the engine using afterrunoil and cleaning
my tomahawk still gives my buddy's savage flux a run for it's money and it has gone through 4gallons of fuel already...
and before you start about his batteries , he uses 2 2s 4000mah batteries and running a better motor...
it doesnt mean that if you can't tune an engine no one can...
@boostercorp I wasn't making it an argument as such. Just different opinion. I've had both and raced both. Lipo's can last well in excess of 300 cycles. Good ones go on into quadruple figures. Cleaning the engine isn't about being a wuss, i just cba :-P In the end, it can just depend where you live. I live in quiet village without much room. Don't like to annoy people by running a nitro car around.
e revo brushless 1/10 scale is sick with the right batteries etc.. 5b nice as well, but their two different cars. nitro and two stroke huge difference in size. Im thinking of getting a 5b in the long run you save on gass for sure. let me think 3-4 per gallon or 30. a no brainer.. still though I luv tuning my nitro.
i believe than no one of U speak czech, couse if you can you will now than e-revo is with single eZRUN brushless for some time and baja is with new engine and hes breaking in it= he drives for a half throttle
@Bully259 Doesen't matter if you spend 850 or 30 with speed you have watch every thing, electrics are prone to breaking but my baja has been to hell and back and it metal frame hold on the whole way. You get waht u pay for with the baja
@emptyqrider yeah i know they are very fast, but nitro is still fast and its just the pure joy of starting the motor and hearing it. its just nice, electric maybe be getting better and faster but i will always be a nitro fan.
Nice vid, but that E-Revo looks very slow for a brushless setup. I'm hoping it's that you're running a 35A ESC which is really ment for touring cars, certainly not monster trucks. I have an ERBE that screams on either 4 or 6s as well as a regular E-Revo which I ordered an EZ-RUN 80A ESC and 1900kv motor for. I know it won't be as fast as the ERBE but I hope it performs better than what I saw in the video.
i have a savage 3.5 and on full throttle it doesnt accelerate at all...can anyone tell me why and what so i have to do to make it accelerate normal again?
have to say ezrun combo is not bad, but 35A version is too low for that car, e revo is 4,3 KG, so you need at least ezrun 60A version, 35A is for lighter cars like 1/10 of 2 KG, with the right setup of ezrun the baja is owned for sure
get better tires for the baja so it does not spin tires as u take off. sweet trucks. and buggy though. but if u get bigger tries with better grip u should be able to rape the erevo even more.
As i said, the erevo has a bad setup and with the right one it will always kicks baja . Change the baja tires whenever you want but It will not work in this unfair race. Just getting better ezrun combo model ...
i have an erevo with a Neu 1515 1y motor with a mamba monster V3 esc and a 22.2v 6s lipo by flightpower and run a 19tooth gear and get 52-54mph if i put on my 26tooth gear i push 67-70mph, wheely bar is a must lol
the E-revo Will smoke that baja in a 60 foot because the e-revo is electric will gives it a better response time than a nitro/gas... but in the long run baja wins

that is normal this is a E Revo whit double titan engine is not the brushless edition because i have two of them and the 5 b is so slowly
geln083 2 years ago 3
i think that this is a FIXED video to convince watchers that the 5b is much faster than E-Revo ...
the fact that the e revo if brushless can make 60mph + with ease.
5b is a very bad choice ..

go die in a whole 5b is the best

it's a bad choice. if you bought it that is your fault. better to stop convincing your self that it's a nice rc car.

BanchyRain 1 year ago
@emptyqrider they baja can push 70 mph.
Bully259 1 year ago
@Bully259 that could be true, but the brushless motors can
reach a real insane speeds with proper gear settings and high
voltage lipo packs. check some youtube vids and you'll see it yourself.
emptyqrider 1 year ago
@emptyqrider yeah i know they are very fast, but nitro is still fast and its just the pure joy of starting the motor and hearing it. its just nice, electric maybe be getting better and faster but i will always be a nitro fan.

Bully259 i said once that both nitro & electric got it's own
specific flavor . the nitro let's you feel it more with it's sound
roaring and it's smoke while the electric also brake the speed
limits almost each day...
btw, i got 2 nitro cars and one electric : it's all fun
emptyqrider 1 year ago
@emptyqrider 5b i s a great choice, much easier to work with tough as nails, iv had both and electric arn't worth crap and the baja will do 75mph.

But now probably i will buy the ezrun 60A with exthernal bec and not the mamba max!
I want to say if I can do runs of 40 mins with this esc or if the esc explode...
Is the esc hot?
What is the runtime?
It's bettere then the vxl esc?
