one reason i love google crhome is that it has an add on called Facebook. It lets you see your friends, inbox, and chat right on chrome! thats one thing firefox doesn't have!

@SIMPLERTHEBEST: Yes... but you never use a browser for PC-based (non-browser) games anyway. You didn't use IE, Safari or Firefox to play WoW, so you wouldn't use Google Chrome. Chrome is a BROWSER, which is made to display pages on the Internet.

A helpful video to watch (to clear up some confusion) is by Google, and is about browsers. Try searching for it, and it'll help you quite a bit. Good luck! :)

I think he's talking about Google Chrome OS. Which will not be able to play games that you need to install. Everything will be located online in a "cloud".

Besides, Chrome OS is based on Linux, so no .exe file types will work anyways. =(

@SIMPLERTHEBEST: Chrome OS will not be able to run such games, no. But here's the thing - Chrome OS is meant for netbooks, which have never had the necessary hardware to run those games anyway. Chrome OS is not meant for desktops and high-power laptops, it is meant for the web-using netbook.

A Net-book is a mini laptop especially designed to connect to the internet - so you can work in restraunt if they have avalible wifi in it. E.G: Mc Donalds

@kirill669 Chrome works for all pc and beta for mac and linux etc... Chrome OS is initially for netbooks. netbooks are usually 10.1 in laptops with less memory etc... usually only used for internet access
