i'm trying to connect to my work pc and i want to see if teamviewer is better than windows remote desktop. Pretty screwed how you have to have teamviewer installed on both pc's. So i gotta use windows remote desktop to install teamviewer then remote desktop using teamviewer... dunno why but just seems kinda stupid lol

Here is the problem with a lot of these remote access software, the client or the second machine has to have something installed. That isn't good if you're looking to setup Remote desktop service and help people. All you want for them to do is either enter a PIN number or click a link that you provide; having them install, create account, and setup isn't ideal and requires too much time.

I would recommend VNC over this. Theres no ID's or passwords to worry about ( unless you want a password) and VNC is also free. You can hide VNC too if you want to use it to spy on someone. :P

If you want to connect to your computer from a far away place, set a password for your Team Viewer. Then just leave the computer on with Team Viewer running and connect to it with your iPhone/iTouch.
