This dude (Rico whatever) is arrogant as fuck and I only have to laugh. Haven't even heard his name and he thinks he's fuckin' Quincy Jones or some shit. GTFOH. That fuckin' house is probably the record label's, LOL.
@56NonYa 'Cause some faggot linked it from FutureProducers you trick ass bitch. I haven't watched again once. Matter fact, I watched a minute of it and said this dude is an arrogant FAGGOT.
@56NonYa I'm not trying to be an Internet thug. I'm too old for that shit. You're the one who got all butt hurt 'cause I ain't suckin' your boy off. Seems you're on this dude's dick quite a bit otherwise you wouldn't have got all butt hurt about my comment not being impressed by all his tough guy talk. Maybe you are in his crew, otherwise...
Anyways, I'm out, have fun looking up to your idol, J whatever.
Thanks Fam for putting this video out ,this was mad inspiration for me to keep pushing, to keep grinding no matter what it takes I been in this game for 15 years strong and till trying to break my career I've been real close and now even closer than ever before through thick and through thin music is my passion.
Great Video Fam...... and Congrats on the New Deal...... Listening to your Story Hits home. Keep pushing for that TOP SPOT.... LOVING to See ya WIN.... Just Followed you on twitter @jubril.
This is the illest shit I have seen in quite some time. Just sent this video to a couple people I know trying to make it in anything really.
I'd like to add my 2 cents as well . . . remove those people around you who don't have a sense of urgency about them. If they aren't helping you progress, they aren't doing shit for you period. I'm taking my own advice, along with Rico's.
Funny thing about this is I was in the studio wit Rico in 06 and he told me this same shit. Its about your attitude in this game, your drive. Be what u want to see. Good shit big homie. - Bandana
When it came to classical music and M.T., some of the best words of wisdom I ever heard came from a music veteran by the name of Joel Grey. He's 40-plus years into the biz, and when a news reporter asked him what his advice was for aspiring artists looking to get into it, he said, "Don't...Don't, unless you truly want this and nothing else, 'cause that's what it's gonna take." So Rico is only echoing what folks in the business already know. If you ain't 150%, it's best you quit. Now.
Before the Popular music industry grind, I was doing classical music & music theatre, and for those who don't know, the competition, hard work, and hustle is just as hard (if not harder) in that arena. Going into the music world as a profession and being successful is virtually a unilaterally impossible thing to do. If you don't fully want it & have the desire to work for it, I promise that you won't make it. Regardless of the field of genre. That's how it's been for time out of mind.
Technically, I'm roughly 3 years into this side of the business and I've done work and made connections that some of my peers took several times as long to make. I promise you it's not because I have a gift; the gift will be there regardless of my grind. The grind & hard work are what separates the real music businessmen & women from the children.
For everyone that's watching this and feels like Rico was out to offend them personally, you've got this entire video wrong. And YOU should quit too. Rico isn't saying anything that isn't true about this business or anything that has to do with the commerce of art, period. It has nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with the grind.
Honestly Rico .. and this is just real talk.. I understand exactly what you we're trying to say but sometimes its the way u come off when u say somethin that delivers the message and yur overall body language and tone n this video spoke arrogance .. be humble man.. you never know who's watching or listening who cud b your next business move
WHO THE FCUK IS U TO TELL ANYBODY TO QUIT!..U HAVE THE CHANCE TO ENCOURAGE AND UPLIFT AND U USE IT BREAK SOMEBODY DOWN..MAYBE THAT MAKES U FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOURSELF...THE HOES AT KING OF DIAMONDS DID SAY UR DICK WAS ABOUT 3 INCHES SHORT SO IT WOULD MAKE SENSE IF U R FEELING A BIT INSECURE BOUTCHA SELF BRUH....AND HOW OLD R U NIGGA?UR HAIRLINE SAYS UR ABOUT 58 BUT U WALKIN AROUND WIT YO PANTS SAGGIN OF UR ASS LIKE UR 20..WORK ON URSELF B4 U OPEN YO MOUTH UP TO GIVE ADVICE BRUH!
Everybody trying to make it in the entertainment business needs to watch this.
