Best way to remove Windows Genuine Advantage Notification

hey just to let you guys know i got the, "can't delete the file" message but an application that i had previously installed called 'unlocker assistant' popped up and offered to help with the delete. it handled it automatically with a restart and it seems to have worked too! time will tell!  i know got this applicaton off of a you tube vid, can't remember which one, but i'm sure that you can search for it. Happy Days. Respect to the lazzar3.

HEY EVERYONE if it doesn't work its because you need to rename the "wgatray.exe" file to "wgatray.exe.bak" then go to your TASK MANAGER "CTRL+ALT+DELETE" and find the wgatray process and "END IT"! After you end it then go back to the System32 folder and "DELETE" the wgatray! Then empty the Trash can! and your done! Then...Proceed to do the REGEDIT!

@kittysim100 many things will deny access if they are currently running, you can try to open task manager ctrl+alt+delete and click the processes tab look for wgatray.exe right click end process, then go back and look for and delete it

@ohhjaace Ok yes that is what they did to make it harder LOL, simple way around that is just rename the file (also remane the .dll file aswell) just call them 01 and 02, so if you want to be tidy to can remove them after restart, the rest is as stated here ;-))

thanx Iazzzar3 It worked for me. youhave to do it just as he says after you delete the file from system 32. wga tray.exe after u confirm do not wait for the system, cannot be deleted u must close that window immediately and then go to run, for the second part, the first 1 has to be done quickly, before they they deny you.
