  • LOL I'M CRYIN IS A STALKER i would totally buy both tracks....(sarcasm)...

  • "cookie will eat a polar bear"

lol you guys are so random.

  • lol 9.276 ice cream

  • ...watching those drums...made me vomit.

  • I'm Cryin = Pride and Joy Part 2(The Break-Up :(

  • Here are the rest:

Rude Mood - they both rhyme

Testify - he went to a law court and gave evidence because that is what testify means LOL

Mary Had a Little Lamb - he knows poetry

Dirty Pool - he was going to his friend's house and looked at the neighbor's dirty pool

I'm Cryin' - another companion song to Pride and Joy because that is one too OR he forgot about Pride and Joy like xygni said

    Lenny - his wife's name

  • If his songs off of T-Flood name people or things, this is what they maybe could be but I am making these up:

Love Struck Baby - while he made the song and he saw a lovely girl, he was love-stricken

Pride and Joy - he sure knows his emotions!

Texas Flood - he went to Texas and it flooded

Tell Me - he probably wanted to know something about somebody and kept saying "TELL ME! TELL ME!"

  • Wait, you forgot New by No Doubt!

  • Well, it's got 2363 notes. So yeah, $236.30 would probably get you a handful of hookers (really cheap ones) and a fuck ton of cotton candy, so yeah.

  • "id be able to afford a hooker orgy....and cotton candy" lol fucking awesome

  • I'm Cryin' and Pride and Joy are companion songs. This was done intentionally so that one sounds happy and one sounds sad. It's to show that how a simple change in lyrics can change the whole mood of a song. To say that SRV was "high" when he wrote that song is just plain ignorant and immature.

Nothing against you guys, but I just felt like I needed to point that out.

  • Lenny was his wife, just in case you don't know.

  • I cant wait to play this album on drums lol

  • 9.276 Ice Cream

  • ROFL

    9.726 Ice Cream

  • nice to see a new review.

  • xygni... You do know the exact same song is the definition of the blues right?

  • Not electric blues/blues rock. Aerosmith, Cream, The Doors, BB Chung King & the Buddaheads, Corby Yates Band, Steve Miller Band, Derek & the Dominoes, George Thorogood, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Super 400, Foghat, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Rick Derringer... All really awesome and unique blues rock artists.

  • Yes but traditional blues IE SRV Johnny Winter is all the same 3 songs at different speeds with awesome lyrics and solos. They all have the same song plan too. Riff Riff Lyrics Riff Solo Riff Lyrics Riff Solo Riff Riff end song.

  • tom petty? lol

  • i hate how albums have same sounding songs.

i'll just add stevie ray vaughn to my list of victims. first will be led zeppelin from their first album.

  • are you kidding?

led zeps frist album has a lot of diversity

  • bullshit! two of the songs from that album are blues tracks that sound exactly the same. i heard that album a couple of times and that is the main reason why i think it is a little overrated.

the album is really good but not classic shit good.

  • which two songs?

shook me and i cant quit you baby?

  • yep yep. two blues songs that have the exact same themes.

  • thanks for the review guyz

  • these are the funniest reviews ive ever watched you guys do... we need more cookie!

  • nice review xygni ill buy your music as long as you promise a full album review of ten when it hits march 24

  • Didn't you guys play a bit of each song before you started talking in the old reviews? I seem to remember that. It was really helpful in forming my own opinion of the song. I couldn't tell what Cookie was talking about during his review for Lenny.

  • We usually do. Problem was that I was trying to fit every song into one video...

  • "I gotta give this song a 9.2...76...ice cream."

    XD

  • Hooker Orgy!!! AND COTTEN CANDY!! :O

    Haha, nice review(s).

  • Oh X, I feel sorry for you this week. Those drums suck... bad.

  • instead of 6 he said, 4 in spanish lmao

  • Dont know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but Lenny was his wife. WIFE ie. WOMAN Lenora Bailey whom he married in 1979 and divorced in 1988. GUY WITH WIKIPEDIA AND NO LIFE...AWAAAYYYYY WHOOOOSH!!

  • can you do the final verdicts again please?

  • Back to the reviews, thank god. Subscribing again. 5*

  • holy shit. Funniest thing ever. I was seriously laughing my face off at xygni's drums.

  • New was a blast on drums though. I'd say give it a try.

  • OMG Cookie. You are so effing funny. Please do more reviews. I love you.

  • "hooker orgy" is god damn hilarious

  • "Normal drum beat?" In the blues for decades this sort of drum beat was used by every single drummer in any band, and even into the early 70s most bands didn't have any sort of interesting drum beat...

lol sucks to be the drummer for these songs though, not gonna lie

  • I know. I mentioned that it's all pretty standard blues drum beats...

  • Wasn't Lenny named after his wife?

  • It is, but I didn't feel like telling Cookie. :D

  • Yep, it was.

  • and then I'm going to EAT IT

  • Lol

    Guitar= epic win

    Drums= epic fail

  • not to nitpick or anything, but you forgot "New"

  • He's only reviewing the songs he decides to buy now.

  • That was intentional.

  • with cotton candy lol

  • Lenny is a song about SRV's first wife Lenore. He wrote the song after she had bought him his "Lenny" Strat.

  • o man, i'm puttin my drums away for a while. bring on the gee-tarz!

  • Pride and Joy is about being in love.

I'm Cryin' is about being out of love.

    we cool?

  • Yes another review great!
