Where else would he have been born? Kenya? His dad was a student in Hawaii and at Harvard from 1959-1965 (Barack was born in 1961). Was he born in Indonesia? Unlikely. His mother met and married Soetero in Hawaii, and Soetero graduated from UH in 1964. These circumstances make it very unlikely that Barack was born anywhere else.

I did contact the VA. It turns out thanks to the First Amendment lying about military service isn't actually illegal unless you use those claims to commit another crime. Where else would he have been born? Kenya? His dad was a student in Hawaii and at Harvard from 1959-1965 (Barack was born in 1961). Was he born in Indonesia? Unlikely. His mother met and married Soetero in Hawaii, and Soetero graduated from UH in 1964. These circumstances make it very unlikely that Barack was born anywhere else.

Many left wingers thought he was the second coming and that he was going to be postpartisan, postracial, and that he was here to solve the world's problems. Some even sought help from Obama for their own personal financial difficulties or life problems, the same as others pray for help to Jesus. I think you can agree, as a civilized being, that he's done absolutely nothing to improve the situation.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution and the case law around it makes it clear his father's nationality doesn't disqualify him. The birther movement is a fantasy for people who lack the understanding of politics to find legitimate criticisms of Obama.
