  • Roger sanchez brought me here... :)

  • great melody&instrumental only at 80´s,

so i miss it at these days,

    great song 4ever,

    5*****

  • who was the gorgeous blond that broke Sonny's heart?he was dangerously in love with her!

  • Don Johnson was sexy and fine also!

  • Boy I wish I was still in the 80's Miami Vice was the best Sexy Philip and Michael Thomas. I remember this song from the ep Def miami. The girl was gorgeous and Ted Nugent walking on the beach and you see the image of Don. So sexy!

  • note this is the first image anyone had of Sonny Crockett ... with the first of many jackets Whiter Than a Thousand Son(set)s

  • dis decomposition, the older Miami Vice gets, the fresher and more refreshing it is ... crisp white linen and perfect pop music washed out to sea on the heavy lifting tide of the decades. This series turbo-charged cool and it's been shedding heat ever since ...

  • sums up the whole MV ... cool as F**k the whole series! God I miss them nights !!!

  • I wish we could download this on iTunes; so far, no.

  • Chuck Norris didn't appreciate this

  • This is the best version on whole Youtube =)

  • lol in the days that actors could have a cigarette in their mouth

  • @drasticplastic When smoking was part of your outfit

    James.

  • Hell sometimes I think I look just as good as ole Donney

  • @ddavoni you have to grow your beard a little and wear ran ban sunglasses.

  • Why dont they come out with a definitive cd box of all the great 80's music used in any episode? Why?

  • @Nerol67 nero all the artists would want to be paid and rightly so, but any producer of sucha CD would not want to pay that money because alot of these songs , in the mainstream, are not that popular anymore. Yes, WE (miami vce lovers) love them but the average teenager doesnt even know about these songs or music. Thats not enough mainstream appeal to make such a CD. Also, wwith current ipod technology, a person could jsut assemble the songs. Or buy the vice city albums,

  • Thumbs up if you plan on dressing like Crockett or Tubbs for spring/summer 2012.

  • This is a jammi...i cant take it...damn old school..im a grown ass bruthu....this ish right here chokes me....los angeles and chicago...back in the day..i miss my partners in

  • @sucharadder If I was a man I would definitely dress like Crockett. He was "THE BEST" that made the show what it really truely was back then.

  • @sucharadder LOL I was just thinking about that! :))

  • Takes me back to the days when bad guys where called Turkeys!

  • Miami Vice was one of the first, and the best, TV show to incorporate contemporary popular music into the plot. And the music they chose was always top quallity.

  • miami vice- michael mann- nuh said. :- )

  • The pinnacle of western culture was the 80's.

  • 10cc yeah,i just got there greatest hit and this was on there.awsom

  • This particular song makes me cry!!!, remembering those days. This 80s TV series is one of the best ever!. Critics on many magazines said that Miami Vice is the reference on modern color TV shows. Everything was innovative: the characters, the outfits, the cars, even the colours and exteriors but mostly those scenes and photography, accompanied by such great music that characterizes the 80s... This is one of the finest jobs I've ever seen on TV!.

  • 0 dislikes!

  • I liked this song so much that I went out and bought it all those years ago... in Vinyl. If you had the vinyl version of the song there is actually some of the intro nissing in this digital version. It starts out with "Big Boys Don't Cry", spoken a couple times. In reference to the song of which this is a reprise. Big Boys Don't Cry by 10cc. Listening to both in order is the optimal way to listen to this song ;-)

  • @FamilyMan5k wow i thought i was the only one who knew that cause i love 10cc good call man

  • There will never ... ever be another show like it !!!

The best music ever also helped ....

  • @1911ES1 You got that right. Those were some good times. The Prince , Madonna era and New Wave music.

  • thumbs up if you want miami vice back, the real miami vice.

  • @mrdax1997 You had me at thumbs up on this one. I really miss those Fri. nights.

  • PRESS REWIND AND TRANSPORT ME BACK TO THE 80S PLEASE.

  • @246Gill c´mon right now

  • The 1st time I heard this tune, it was an instant hit in MY mind. I just don't recall if my 1st hearing it was on the radio or the Miami Vice episode. Probly the MV epis, since I was the biggest fan of that show. Anyway, as I was sittin here listenin to it while watchin the ending of the Princess Bride (w/no sound), it almost made me cry.

  • uh...whats the guy crossing the street doing in the background????

  • @control202 He was breakdancin

  • @control202 - Vogue-ing. Don't you remember Madonna?

  • @control202 yes he was breakdancing. THis was actually the first scene of the first MV episode : - )

  • Miami rules Miami Vice and the wonderful 80's!!!!!!!!

  • Miami rules Mimi Vice and the wonderful 80's!!!!!!!!

  • i love the suits

  • Sensational, this music is simply the top of miami vice musics.

  • 6:29 is the length of this track not 10:37

  • @nicomowarsaw That's why it's named "Extended remix" u idiot.

  • @yzbi Why do you insult by calling me an idiot? Do you like listening to nothing? As after 6.30 mins you will find nothing but silence until 10:37.

Please refrain from being a hater.

  • @nicomowarsaw It's not like you made that clear in your comment, and I didn't listen to the whole thing as I believed that people arn't stupid enough to upload 4 minutes more than the song itself is.

  • Stuff Miami, this is Manchester at its VERY best!

  • Miami Vice = Best cop tv series ever

  • @lego12356 I had such a major crush on Don Johnson back then the TV was all mine Fri nights. I still love Miami Vice. It's still on the top of my list of Favorite 80's TV shows. That would be something if they could do a reunion comeback after so many years again.

  • I was born yesterday so I don't know what I'm talking about.

  • Ilove it, i love it so much

  • Please never take this song away. This version is perfection.

  • what a tune... WHAT A TUNE

  • This was my favorite show in the 80s! That and Max Headroom. although I'm from Chicago I actually ended living in miami beach (south beach it's called) for 3 years! loved it. Although Miami Vice had great soundtracks, i don't recall this tune being used in particular. I guess I must've missed that show.

  • @jrfuent The episode where this awsome tune was used is called "Definitely Miami'. They used this song perfectly with the emotions Crockett was feeling. I recommend this episode, it truley was one of the best. The Nudge makes a guest appearence as well.

  • i could listen to this for days....

  • Burnett, so we meet again.

  • @Nightslasher You got something for me?!

  • I was born in 89 so was not really around in the 80's and have just started watching Miami Vice and have to say it is one of the best shows around. I already adore 80'a music but I would love to of grown up in the 80's!

    Miami Vice and 80's forever!

  • @Dani890890890890 80's was the best!! Carefree and breaking music, MTV and of course Miami Vice!

  • I love the 80's. Great music, great tv shows, great actors. This show is one of my favorites, primarily because of the don, who ever so firmly proves that he is a very skilled and talented actor!

  • Great song!

  • Just got done watching the Definitely Miami episode with this song in the background. Love Miami Vice shows from the 80's..

  • So cool. Enough said !

  • For me this song just fits this image perfectly!

  • Burnett.. So.. We meet again..

Have you got something for me?

  • No song ever matched a TV episode the way "Cry" matched the ending of Miami Vice in "Definitely Miami". It remains the perfect blend of music and image.

  • This song along with the cars, the clothes, the women nothing to date has defined a decade like Miami Vice and this song.

I miss the 80s and Miami Vice!

  • Crocket walking down the beach ready to bust Belinda Montgomery Season 2 ep: 12 1-10-1986 "Definitely Miami"

  • that's not Belinda Montgomery. She is Ariel Dombasel. She is French

  • Way cool.. yeah dude this was Miami then..by co incidence just as the show was ascending in its popularity, I got a new gig which involved travel to Miami...I had done that gig 8 yrs earlier and it was cool to return to Miami when this show was in the national limelight....
