I have the Charles Ford Band cd where his brother plays the harmonica, can't comment on this version but it sounds very similar.. I would have guessed it was the same version. I love Charlie though, he kicks ass. as well.
I am a Harp Player and I bought this cd thinking blue and lonesome with harp was on there. I bought the charles Ford band cd also just for this harp version.
This is still a great cd and worth getting just for the 1st song sweet sixteen at 12:33 minutes long.
I was supprised to find you were allowed to post these without the copyright thing
stopping you.
I now have two great cd's I think Robben Ford and all the Ford brothers are well worth adding to your blues collection.
@oxharp I did the samething years ago, looking to find Mark Ford doing this song.
As a harp player "wanna be" I still feel this song is the absolute sweetest harp song ever. However, the sweetest blue song ever is "Bluest Blues" by Alvin Lee of TEN YEARS AFTER. Check it out.
Wow. I mean, WOW.

You are right oxharp but I am glad it was posted anyway. I love it, it oozes a sexy ambiance. The harmonica is my favorite part.
