i saw the dvd in the stores and it has the cinema version and at extra content, some stupid trailers from some crap movies including the trailer for Terminator 3. WTF???? i must think twice if i'm gonna buy it for my birthday. maybe i will wait for district 9

I got the Blu-ray yesterday the R rated version is very tame.

The boob scene is a side boob shot. you can see more in a shower commercial The other part cut out is Marcus putting a screwdriver into some guys arm. you see no gore because the guy is wearing a thick jacket.

Not from what I recall. In the theatrical version, you hear the young Kyle Reese briefly say "Fuck yeah" after he kills one of the mototerminators & while it's true to the character we come to know being played by Michael Biene, it's somewhat hard to hear & no, I heard it was just a extended violent scene of Marcus killing the pirates & the partial nudity that got cut out

the effort was thier, but the directors cut is cheap, ive seen it, nothing in thier that was of R material except the skynet prisoner trying to climb out getting mulled by a gatling gun,not the terminator future ive imagined since seeing T1 for the first fucking time @ only 5 years of age~ it was decent but i left the theater with no positive nor negative reaction to it.. just felt bummed as fuck that this was all we got after all these fucking years & the ridiculous hype all over it~

The DVD and Blue Ray are already in stores here in Belgium (Europ). The only bonuses are two behind the scenes footage and an 11 minutes documentary about the making off the special effects scenes.

I'm glad I dind't bought this piece of crap. Sincerely.

The movie industry dont give a shit about the fans, nor anyone for that matter. All they care about is the profits. Salvation wasnt a bad movie, but you don't piss people off by announcing a lazy DVD release, obviously pushing Blu Ray, which honestly i barely play movies on my PS3 with. Im just gonna get the DVD release and stick on my vintage HD DVD.

If we do see a T5 announced, dont expect it to be great if the same team are on board. We need James Cameron people, protest protest protest!

Yeah it kinda pisses me off how they been screwing with us Terminator Fans.. I was looking forward to the 30 - 40 minute longer version on DVD that we were promised! I saw the Directors cut the other day that was only 3 minutes longer and there was hardly anything different except for the tit shot, a T1 in the beginning and small scenes of dialog and that was it.... We truly did get fucked by the producers this year!

Don't worry they'll release a longer version studios always like to milk it. So far a theatrical cut and a directors cut will come out in december. Don't be surprised if next year they come out with and Extended cut. Look at watchmen WB are releasing an extended cut in december that will have the animated story edited into the movie.
