  • The widest part is 10 miles so you can usually see all the way across. But it is 130 miles long and you can not see that far. You can usually see about 7-8 miles on water if there are no mountains.

  • ive been watching a pair of eagles for the past 2 years right near my house on lake champlain in plattsburgh. they come to the same tree almost daily
