  • Me think this damn fine old-fashioned drama. Love the precise articulation and ham acting!

  • Great stuff: and so many bloopers that we laugh at today! Tonto dug a grave - with a knife - and buried Collins in a matter of seconds. Also, the cliff is higher when Collins falls off it than it was when the LR started to climb it. Silver the wild horse is already wearing shoes. And why does the LR need a secret identity anyway? Wonderful, though - warts and all.

  • That's one hell of a horse :D

  • I know it was the early days of TV, but damn I'm glad we've moved on from having a narrator constantly telling us what's going on. We can see it!

  • the comment about christian values is correct, the lone ranger refused to kill . that makes him a buddhist too .........

  • these are great.

  • These programmes are what made tv

  • i see all my Episodes at TV[.]UsNetxxx[.]com

  • Jay Silverheels (Tonto) is actually Canadian!

  • Tonto couldn't take a shit in the woods by himself, the ranger should have shot him in the head while he was shitting in the woods.

Boy, what a hunk! I love the "Lone Ranger!" He is so good looking. I just can't stop looking! And, I, too, love the sound of his voice. And, I love the fact that he loves fighting, for justice, and putting the "villiaains" in their place. I think that this is what makes him such a hunk! Meow! Catwoman J

  • I love to listen to the Lone Ranger radio shows on the internet. The Lone Ranger was played by Brace Beemer who had an awesome voice. Now seeking the Lone Ranger in the flesh is just weird. He's kinda cute though.

  • What memories! I remember me and my brother watching these old reruns as kids.

  • my hero.........where the bad hang out they call him boss.

  • The original american hero of the west....A fiery horse with the speed of light! A cloud of dust and a hearty Hi-Yo, Silver! The Lone Ranger!

  • Trying to watch the Lone Ranger and suddenly it stops to show a commercial. You Tube never use to do this and now its trying to upgrade and perhaps compete with HULU? The worse thing is that the show stopped"an error has occurred please try later" so much for the episode.

  • U-tube really sux if it can't play anything without it freezing every two seconds - this happens so much, that I marvel , how could you U-tube still exist ?

  • I didn't know they had tights in the old west

  • LoLLLLz @ 1:56

  • Great show!

  • The horse that played Silver was a beautiful animal!

  • You said it.

  • 1949 classic. Helped form the fabric of my being.

I understand that Tonto was the better horseman, & had to hold back so that the Ranger could be featured.

  • "Helped form the fabric of my being" I could not have said it better. The clear values of right and wrong were shown week after week on this show. He didn't want profit. He didn't even stay around long enough to be thanked. He did it because it was right. My earliest main man.

  • Don't use God to diss an honorable TV character. You ought to be ashamed of yourself!

  • i would shoot them in the knees and leave um to die

  • 1949!

  • I still don't know why he needed a secret identity. He never walked around as not the Lone Ranger.

  • The story line was that he was afraid that if the people that ambushed the rangers knew he survived they'd kill him

  • Thanks! I've wondered about that for about 50 years. Now I finally know.

  • I think he says it in episode one. of course, this leave the question of why he continued W/ the mask after he caught cavendish unanswered

  • Does any one know or now here know The Lone Ranger is a direct descendant of Britt Reid - Green Hornet

  • Makes sense since his nephew is Dan Reid.

  • The Lone Ranger's voice sounds like Hank Hill of King of the Hill.

  • hahaha hell na a wild horse nope

  • I'm guessing this was filmed in the San Fernando Valley. Most of the flat land in these scenes is probably covered with houses and freeways now.

  • lol @ ~16:25 - Tanto tying up Scout looks like the old fashioned Western equivalent of parking a car.

  • I love how Tonto whips out his knife to dig a grave. That's got to be tough.

  • I had to laugh when the Lone Ranger coaxes the injured stallion to his feet and he's wearing horse shoes!!! ha ha Also, the "dead" judge raises his head when Tanto examines him. These screw-ups were unnoticeable to an eight year old boy.

  • funny when they capture Silver he already has shoes on

  • General Mills was the sponsor then, and it's one of the sponsors now. Serendipity.

  • this was my favorite show as a youngster! why cant they make shows like this nowdays?would be alot better for the kids than the crap their spewing out now. evan the disney shows suck.

  • I love this..my younger brother is going crazy watching these episodes

  • 1:54 hahaha!!!!

  • This one keeps stopping, ep #1 didn`t.

  • I see a hint of Christian values in this old television show. I do not see anything like that today.

  • @blessedbeJesus Amen to that.

  • @blessedbeJesus I also see many hints of racism. The good values presented today and some even in this show are not limited to Christian ideals.

  • @Greedypro123 The video was taken off of American access so I can not see it again in reply to your comment. One thing that I do know, that God is color blind in regards to race. I read the King James Bible.

  • Glen Strange was also the Frankenstein monster in Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein.

  • I THOUGHT that was Glen Strange! He also played the monster in House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula. Classics!

  • the old episodes on early television were not so clear as these on you tube..the lone ranger was great! as a kid when you watch it seems so real..

  • I Love this!

  • wooooo fantastic lol

  • He took down a buffalo with a pistol! Now THAT'S shootin'!

  • HE GOT A 50CAL 6 SHOOTER

  • I wondered what Sam the bartender on Gunsmoke did before filling beer glasses for Ms. Kitty.

  • quick grave digging and burying (at 3:00)!

  • With only a knife no less!

  • "How far is it?"

"Not far, maybe two hours away."

TWO HOURS AWAY WAS CONSIDERED "NOT FAR" AT ONE TIME!?/

    We are sooooo spoiled nowadays.
