I uploaded my site following your steps, but the homepage that comes out when I type the domain is an Index were you can access all of my files. From there you can access the actual page but I want it to redirect inmediately to the first page I selected, how do I do this?

@vivalachampions It is just a folder issue. You have the index file in a folder. You need to make sure your index is on the public_html and inside nothing. Use a program like FileZilla to access the folders on your server.

i made my site in DW and i connected to 000webhost... i uploaded my index.html and my script file... it worked.....as of tht point...

Now i uploaded my about.html but when i am on my index page.. i click the about.html it takes me to "error404.000webhost . com /?" Why????.. but when i run the site in dreamweaver it runs fine... it links to about.html.. but not on the 000webhost... wht the prob?? please help meee asaaappp... i need my site running..... :S

@EliteToonZ Sometimes you dont even need a port, but if you do: It depends on wether your with a free or paid web host, if your with a free web host, it usually doesnt matter or you can find out on the websites forum. For paid hosting, just ask in the ticket centre or even better, live chat.

@alejojp1 Ok, That has to do with 000WebHost.

There is a pretty simple fix, but you need a program like 'FileZilla'.

Basically FileZilla will upload your site and give you an option to delete 'default.php'

I will do a tutorial to help you, maybe in a week if thats ok?

In the trial version of cs5 it does not give you the option to load the information for your ftp. Does that mean you can't load your webpage from the trial version

@biancax33 Well it does look different. eg. the advanced tab is replaced with a new look, but it's all the same properties. Very easy to do in both :)
