  • great capture well in gents

  • sick huge! thank you you respectful this fish:D

  • Well done guys

  • bet u looked like a chesher cat after returning that monster well done mate. wot bait did u catch it on

  • well done mate, a river pike of that size is a thing of myth and mystery, a truely amazing catch.

  • Unbelievable.

  • You are definitely Jay off inbetweeners, where was the clunge? haha

  • Stunning pike, well looked after.....very jealous ;)

  • holllyyyyyy faaacckk coock dock dick dangler diddler squaddler fiddle daddle

  • nice release. it's good to see someone take that kind of care to properly release a fish. i've seen too many vids of ppl just pitching pike back into the water. and, i can't believe there's actually ppl on here trying to say that's a muskie. any educated angler can pretty easily tell the difference between the two. for those who don't know, in europe especially, pike can grow to equal sizes that we in the states typically see muskie get up to. just an fyi.

  • Excellent fish. And well looked after. Not like some of the idiots you see on here waving fish around like ragdolls. Congrats!

  • that is a great catch, well done!!!

  • nice release good job

  • nice release good job

  • nessy back into the lock! haha

  • somebody should catch it and eat it!

  • @wesolykulfon i fish that big would taste terrible! plus u should never kill a fish that big

  • NICE catch and release!

  • Good angling buddy..... RESPECT !!!!!1

  • look guys its as simple as tigers and leopards. tigers and muskies have stripes leopards and pike have spots. plus judging from the accents these guys live in european pike country. no muskies there beautiful fish! nice release!!

  • look guys its as simple as tigers and leopards. tigers and muskies have stripes leopards and pike have spots.

  • Nice one lads, impressed, got the right kit, skill, and experience to handle such an important fish, could not see a problem on the release so ignore the know nowts off the first video.

    Damflask piker.

  • incredible fish !! good catch

  • Wow thats a sport to release that baby

  • wow, massive fish, i wish i could fish for pike more often but have only gone out once on quinte and biggest was only 4 pounds.

but ive caught loads of muskie on scugog and only one on rice being 28.2 pounds.

  • it's good that you were using a carp mat, this fish is a monument of a nature and should be treated with proper respect, just like You did.

I wish my countrymen was just like You, but they're killing +100kg catfishes :/

  • nice job,, to bad people got to hate before they see the truth,,,,I say eat a couple, it cost enough to catch them today,,, I do eat a few, hate on me, it's my choice

  • type into youtube>

  • great catch mate.

  • ooooooooooo how i envy you!!!!!!

my dad had a 27 lber from the kennet in 2004 could it be the same fish lol : )

  • AMAZING fish matey that just looks fliping stunning

  • that's an absolute beast, good to see you using an unhooking mat, you should have held it at the end to let a have a breather as with every pike. but well done anyway.

  • It is nice to see how you both appreciate the beauty of this fish. This is an example of respect for the environment. (BP executives take note!)

    Excellent video men.

  • nice catch

  • congrats man! its a monster for sure

  • What a cracking fish mate well done, one of the best videos ive seen on youtube.

You need to give Scotland a try.

  • that is the biggest pike ive ever seen , i caught a 26 pounder on that exact river about 3 weeks ago it had quite a big bite mark out of it and the pike itself was massive.

  • wow is an amazing pike

    and I like your style!!

  • Amazing fish! Congratulations!

  • Well sory to disapoint you .. but it is common know to all anglers that it is a good idea to let the fish catch the breath after eing on land that long. But it is nice to see that you actually cares enough to use a madress to put it on. If you look closely it almost tips over to the right side more than once .. that is an indication on that you it did not catch its breath... But defiantly a nice catch and good to hear that it survived but that is more due to luck ...

  • very good catch well done.

  • Great catch and superb sportsmanship for her release I commend you my brother angler from a champion fisherman.

  • Amazing how many people have advice for you for doing what you already do well. lol. If you'd caught and released a lesser fish likely no one would say squat. Nice job.

  • @gepetto4 thanks for the comments.... One if the few level headed anglers out there. And I'm sure you'd agree that's no Muskie lol.

  • Well done

  • ha! i was happy with my ten pound pike. i caught it on a tiny other pike. i aslways do it it works very well. good to see it returned. :)

  • you guys are cool..respect animals and animal wildlife

  • thats a nice MUSKIE!!!!

  • Thats a musky you freakin liar. Go tea bag your gay buddies

  • @camilcalice It's a pike we dont have muskies in England, they look the same anyway.

  • @tomjalland a muskie is a pike you bell end!

  • @poochybaby69 2 different species... Northern Pike & Muskie

  • @miders

True, a muskie has more sensory pores on the underside of the mandible

  • @miders This is a Northen Pike because the fins are rounded where as a Muskie doesn't have rounded fins it has a more square look to it

  • @miders

The guy (poochybaby69) is right- muskie is a kind of pike. You are right as well- muskie and northern pike are 2 different species, but they both belong to the same genus- pike genus. (Esox). Peace

  • @poochybaby69 Fuck off. I never even said anything....Bell End.

  • @poochybaby69 Nonsense! Muskies (esox masquinongy) grow bigger and have dark spots on their skin. Pikes (esox lucius) have pale spots. Think before you say.

  • @poochybaby69 LOL what an idiot

  • @poochybaby69 Wow.......really???? and you are calling people names?

  • @poochybaby69 What planet are you from, muskie and pike are not even close to the same, read a book

  • Catch & Release

    Respect...

  • Good man. good man...

how many fisherman here dont even like fish? (im one of em)

the last time i ate a fish that i caught was when i was at my cottage and he swalloewed the hook (kind of amatuerish) and he was gonna die anyways

  • Its very rare that we eat Pike in the UK mate, this man was doing the normal thing. Cracking fish

  • RESPECT! Thats awesome that you let um' go...just let him keep getting bigger

  • Well done on releasing it. a fake mount will be just as good... what a heffer!

  • fantastic!

  • you should have made sure it was fully recovered before letting it swim off youd be well suprised how many pike end up belly up shortly after being released!

  • ...thanks for the tip...i never knew that!!! by the way it was well rested before the cam started rolling and has since been recaptured... i know who to come to if i need to be taught how to suck eggs.

  • jesus its hench it would probably pull me in

  • what s pike love it waht a fish

  • Actually pike are eating our other fish- extincting them espeacially the trout. I think you should have kept it.

  • Extincting them?!!! Get a grip, you can't comprehend the natural balance of a waterway.

  • You haven't got a clue what your talking about. Do you honestly think that trout will become extinct. what a twat!

  • They wont become extinct, they just go down in numbers in lakes when pikes are introduced. Happened in my lake too, ice fisherman put pike minnows in the lake and the pike are like a weed on your lawn...

  • As a trout and pike fisherman it severely brasses me of when I hear of trout angling clubs killing these big fish off.Although I'm glad to see more enlightened clubs not doing this.Well done lads it always does your heart good to see them slide off and swim into the depths.

  • Lock Stock and 2 smokin Fisherman.

Nice one, Thats huge! I only just got into Pike fishing, biggest so far is only about 10lb, but its heaps of fun. Well done on letting it go.

  • Nice job on the release guys......Nice to see people still respect the environment.

  • Catch and reallse!:)

  • And he said Well done.

  • Well done lads

    every credit to you

  • You've got my respect for the vid. Catch and release is the future, at least here in Switzerland, where nature is taking its last breath.

  • 33 no way

  • Yes way look at it!

  • I commend and salute you gentlemen for catch-n-release. Big Pike genetics spawn, well, big Pike. I always release the big ones, and save the smaller ones for eating.

  • I have had them over the "30" , massive and beautiful fish.

A shame that ignorance and cruel people kill them for no good reason.

Delighted for you, well done sir.

  • nice i fish i caught alot of 20+ but never one that big

  • just back from fishing, my mate got a tiny one that was put back as well fair play

  • Beautiful !! ... Wish I could have been there .. Just to see that fatty slide away .. Mmm .. There´s just nothing like catching a monster for then to release it again! .. Beautiful!! :D

  • you did the classy thing by letting it go, congrats.

  • okay okay........add me to the list of fishermen that say well done for releasing that monster Pike... my biggest was only 23 lbs....great job guys

  • man you guys are like heros man no one ever releases anymore but is that your biggest im not bragging but ive caught a 48 pound northern on the old fasioned dare devil

  • that would be a north american record if you caught it over here

  • yeah up in canada im a new yorker but it wouldnt be a record i was with a guy who was 3 pounds away from biggest northern but the biggist was in the st lawrence and was 6'7 inches and 54 punds

  • no it wouldnt..There was a 70inch caught icefishing in my home province of manitoba...Search it up on google.....

  • Hi Lads great fish good to see you put it back tight lines Alain (ex r/o P.A.C region 7) york All the best for 08

  • You guys rock! for releasing it, great job. Wanna go fishing now...

  • is it your fish? no...then stfu its not like your going to catch it so who cares anyways?

  • what a dumb comment

  • Your a true fisherman!!!

"NO-Kill" is a very good thing!

  • People are more educated to the fact that killing a large pike doesnt remove any problem but creates shit loads such as more deseased fish swimming freely and a shit loads more jack pike. This thing would happily munch through alot of jacks in its lifetime ok, so removing it you make problem far worse. Anyway who could hurt such a fantastic looking prehistoric creature which is the best hunter fresh water ever seen. Thay are just terriric.

  • totally agree with you u couldnt be more right!!! except maybe zander are better hunters coz they work together but they aint native so fuck them! pike rule!!!

well done for catching this fish lads so badly want to get a 30lber!!!

  • i love it when people can respect big pke like that and relese them thats awsome well done

  • A cracking video, capturing the essence of what our sport is all about!! Seeing a fish go back like that is one of the best parts of catching such a beast!! Well done!
