While I don't believe in crop circles being the work of aliens or ley lines or Marks & Spencer marketing schemes or whatever, references to "devils" making patterns in crops apparently reaches back centuries, to the 1400s at least.

Of course, it could be a liberal interpretation of the facts - or outright fabrication - by people who actually believe in crop circles being the work of forces beyond mortal ken, but it does mean that crop circles may - MAY - date back far beyond the seventies.

I think the main reason more people who aren't from America don't believe in the moon landing because they just don't trust America, tbh. I mean, if another country had done it, I think people would be more receptive, but much of the world has an anti-American sentiment.
