  • I love da smell of napalm in the morning.

  • If your really looking to do this job...Just pick a job up with the USFS on a handcrew or hotshot crew. I did prolly around 5-6 controlled burns. It should just say Wildland Firefighter... lol...A burn boss is just a position you hold on a fire.

  • Change the culture, not all fire is bad!!

Fire was here way before we ever where!

  • Alright, I just set the whole block on fire. When do I get paid?

  • i would love to get paid to start fires

  • ok stay in america, I dont like chocolate

  • damn neither do i, i was hoping you'd eat it all,... ohwell

  • i know really its people like this who are killing the earth

  • Actually, controlled burning is not a problem, if this is what they are doing. Fires are a natural way for clearing forests so new plants can begin growth, in fact it is an important part of plant life. They do these controlled burns so wildfires don't get too wild and spread to homes.

  • @wrinkes actually a controlled burn helps with the cultivation and reproduction of land. Its a cycle that is very productive.

  • These guys a fire bugs. No wonder california burns out of control during summer, must be these guys to blame.

  • global warming is the nature self every century the world get warm and the other cold its natural

    sry for my english

  • @sheetbug Actually fires in california burn out of control because of lighting strikes and arsonists most of the time. Controlled burns not only help the environment, but help control fuels so they dont burn too crazy when a fire gets going. A controlled burn is monitored carefully and only when conditions are right. Weather, wind, relative humidity. All contribute to fire behavior and condition.

  • whats the point?

  • to get rid of dead plants that are blocking new plants from growing

  • yea. Fires like this occur naturally and are an important part of the cycle. They are stopped by humans though for obvious reasons.

  • To make the probability of a bushfire happening less.

  • no actually its a natural way of making way for new generations of fauna. You also have a point though
