  • anyone reckon the voice sounds like jeremy clarkson's voice??????

  • lol: GEAR UP

  • I find this really hard to masturbate too....

  • I'm wearing my windshear toga right now ;)

  • are they singaporeans or malaysians?

  • Why you guys Rotate on V1?

  • When conditions where wind sheer is observed (or has been reported) why is it not common practice to add a plus factor to Vr ?

Calculated Vr speed is an adjustable figure.

You can hold the nose down well past the calculated Vr.

(as long as you don't exceed Flap and Gear speeds).

Flinging yourself into the air when you suspect the possibility of sheer seems unreasonable.

Why not allow an extra 15 kts? (or more, depending)

In "Weather" or variable winds I always give myself a margin.

    No big deal

  • Compliment to deltaeagle 7700 which notice that the landing gear handle was done.................Well done...b 767/300 er

  • Please. Just after trend goes down - never keep pitch higher than director :) You know - its dangerous.

  • wow u lost over 30 knots of indicated airspeed...u should be dead now....

  • how long can shear last?

  • @MrFlyguy124 there is no specified timing prescribed in the manual. but i would say it never last more than several minutes...which off course when you're in it would feel like eternity!

  • @MrFlyguy124 the rest of your life.

  • i love these training vids its funny how the stop have him look at the camera then talk. :)

  • windshear warning on airbuses are so much calmer. the GWPS is like, Windshear. Windshear in his good old english accent, whereas on the boeings its like, "WINDSHEAR WINDSHEAR WOOP WOOP".

  • im sure these are malaysian pilots on etihad video.

  • what are SRS orders?

  • @Waddeck43 Hi Waddeck, SRS= Speed Referential System. The flight director would guide the pitch to attain the assigned speed selected.

  • that's an oh shit moment........windshear sucks

  • @Farmerpilot13

    Nah, mostly blows.

  • @ydyammo ha lol

  • Was it me or was the pitch VERY high?

  • @Mazza4Azza Actually, or you follow SRS bars or, in case you don't have the bars, pitch must be 17,5º including the use of full backstick if necessary.

  • @mvaquero777

So if you DO encounter windshear, you ascend the pitch to 17.5º?

  • what's toga

  • @FSXaddict5

TOGA= Take Off Go Around ...... Power.

  • @FSXaddict5 How can you call yourself FSXaddict when you barely know any stuff about airplanes

  • @MusicLover11325

.....so how much is barely any when i asked 1 ques.

  • @FSXaddict5 Actually, you ask alot of stuff, Look I'm sorry, if you need any help. I'll try to help you okay?

  • @MusicLover11325

Do you have to know a lot about drugs to be a heroin addict? ;))

  • @ydyammo Are you using that to take place as in, FSXaddict needs to know alot about these in order to be an FS addict? Well if you meant that, I already apologized to him. Sostfu.

  • @MusicLover11325

stfu? hah... Touchy today, are we? :)))

No harm intended, m8. :) But don't act surprised when people answer in kind. :)

    ~S~

  • @ydyammo Actually I really bet when you just saw that comment you were raging. I'm not even surprised. It took you 3 days to calm your ass down. And write down something nice.

  • @MusicLover11325

Why don't you google the meaning of the ;) smiley and then read my comment again. :)

  • @ydyammo It means you're happy

  • @MusicLover11325

Good grief, lad, can you not tell the difference between a "colon" and a "semi-colon"?

  • @ydyammo Of course I can the semi is the wink while the colon is a smile

  • I don't think I would ever want to fly with them.....

  • the pilots are funny like hell..lmao !!

  • @SavaMarkovicPilot I think they are philipino

  • 0:23 Geehap

  • @V1GONOGO haha u r amazing , very funny

  • What is windshear? Please answer!

  • @TheGreatFlyer WindShear is a severe weather phenomenon. It's very serius because this causechanges in Speead of aircraft, change of altitude, and Serious changes in altitude, direction and occur when the plane is very close to the ground, which causes him to play very hard and early, since the money changer in wind speed causes even the STOLL.

  • @Gustavomc12 STOLL?

  • @zaphr89 It's provable too, Because the speed of aircraft to land is low.

  • sudden change of wind speed and direction

  • 0:54 gear down looooooooooool!

at least correct the video ! its supposed to be instructional ,right?

  • @V1GONOGO lol good spot

  • Doesn't the A330 / 340 not perform a auto retract from F+1 to Flaps 1 until you reach or exceed ~200kts? 1:06 the aircraft is already in flaps 1 but well below 200kts?

  • 0:54. Does anyone notice that the landing gear handle is in the down position?

  • We never noticed that it was recorded in error. The scene was shot in many different angle many different times, hence we've lost track of the landing gear configuration during the shooting. Kudos to you DE7700 for picking that one up. I stand corrected on that.

  • Thanks!

  • The image is from another video.

  • How can it be? It looks like the same video.

  • I don't know, probably the same scene but in other moment. Like in TakeOff?

  • yeah lol

  • awesome video ...i hope to be pilot for etihad soon ....their training stardards are just top class !!!! =D ...thanks for the video captain....wishing u further success in ur career.

  • Awsome! Now I know the procedures when I'm flying in winsheer.

  • Microburst can be deadly as well as the sudden change of horizontal air mass movement direction. Change of lift performance may also result in sudden change of air temperature, ie. when entering cold cloud, since lower temperature air is sligthly less dense than warmer air mass. I've experienced this personally as a passenger of an airplane 2 weeks ago when right after take off from Munich airport, plane immediately entered freezing foggy cloud at approx 100 ft with sensation of significant drop

  • we know.... delta 191 was doomed due to microburst

  • .....

cold air is more dense than hot air... you have it backwards....

  • yup, thats because most cold air in the atmosphere has water droplets :), thats why its good to check density altitude and the altimeter!

  • Okay, thanks for the answer =)

  • Can you explain what windshear means?

    Thanks!

  • awesome!!!!
