  • Thanks 1st of all....can you help me out one thing????

How does the body roll inthe air two three times when the actor kicks....is that a chroma key effect with green rope tied and pulled or is that done by some gymnastic expert who can flip and roll two three times...pls help me..shall be greatful.

  • @kanubari are you referring to a b-twist, or butterfly twist? In most cases you'll see this move pulled off by stuntmen without the aid of ropes.

  • They're like the Freddiew of CQC...

  • Thank you so much for making this film! Tomorrow I am filming my first fight scene! and I would really hate for one of my actors to actually get hit! LOL. Also, I would hate for it to look cheesy. : )

  • hey yall plz go to me and zach's channel mogulution!

  • NICE

  • I just love you guys

  • Great work you guys!!! I'm shooting a short(Action) film in the next few months and thanks to your vids I'll be ready, thanks again.

  • This was great!!!!

  • Question: is there any context where you would use an actual hook (i.e. a boxing hook) for a movie fight instead of a "movie hook"? aside from a boxing scene of course

  • @lethalchickenent Yes, actually. Depending on the "flavor" of the fight. The difference in flavor between the fight scenes in say, episode 2 and episode 3 is very clear. In episode 3's fight it was dirtier and less stylized. We didn't even stack hits in that one, we instead made "pulled contacted." I'll be covering that topic in a future several-part episode on choreography =)

  • Hello John, how do you pronounce your last name again ?!

  • Helpful stuff - thanks!

  • Brilliant tut

  • Definitely going to be following these. Funny and helpful. Nice one guys! :)

  • Amusing and useful. Looks like a good start!

  • Recommended by Kenny. Very sick!

  • let me guess... at 4:54 it was take five? :D

  • I'm subscribing! This is great and DEFINITELY needed. There isn't anything good on this topic online right now, and this was great! I hope you guys make this into a series!

  • forgot to mention it would be nice if you show what are good camera angles to shoot a a fight scene, how to edit it and make those cool angles happen from different sides

  • Really this needs to be a series because is is zzzzzzeroooo of anything on fighting choreography

  • great show. My new sub. A great tutorial would be use of the 180 rule. Too many beginners get the viewer lost by breaking this rule.

  • Very awesome

  • Nice! This was entertaining and informative. You guys are awesome! Looking forward to more episodes! Keep 'em coming!

  • hahaha that was awesome! so funny at the end :D

  • Great job. Keep it up. Let's see some blood.

  • This is awesome! Maybe edit it down to a slightly shorter version, and submit it to yourfx? That would be really cool, so other people can see it too :)

  • This is FANTASTIC! I have wanted to know more about film fight scenes. VERY INFORMATIVE and extremely well put together, I hope you do some more helpful techniques in the future, Best of luck! :)
