  • what does "banshee" mean?

  • @Calling2Heaven A banshee is a ghostly or skeletal figure in Irish/Scottish folk-lore, who screams or wails at the home of a person who will soon die.

  • THIS SONG IS CALLED SCARBOUROUGH FAIR FROM THE ORIGINAL SIMON AND GARFUNKEL ITS BEAUTIFULL BLESSED BE FROM THE NETHERLANDS

  • Some of the written lyrics don't match the lyrics as sung...

  • I like this version better than the one Simon and Garfunkel did.

  • scarborough fair :)

  • I love this.....very trance-like....

  • the elfen knight/strawberrylane

  • amazin , i dream of dancing with the elves in the forest for the old gods , while i am full painted and dressed like our favourite friends. otherwise.... elfy beltane ;) woow....

  • Scarborough faire...one of my favorite mediæval songs :) ::thumbs up::

  • @Earthdragon1230 Simon and Garfunkel. Mediaeval baebes have an awesome version of it too. Their Mirabilis cd. I do like how the guys here are singing it here. First time I have heard Omnias version.. :)

  • @sondra768 Omnias version is more haunting than the versions by Simon and Garfunkel, who put a more trance like feeling to it and Mediaeval Babes, who have a more romantic feeling to the song.

  • I never hear a man sing this song, and it's from the viewpoint of a man. I love this version!

  • @kelath5555 What about .. uh .. Simon and Garfunkel?

  • Very good rendition!

  • I love it too

  • ur so shit

  • ur so shit

  • hail the elves

  • i love ths:)

  • @ohmygodnotthebees ,I don't know what you were expecting to hear that you find this so pathetic.

  • @ohmygodnotthebees ur comment is very rude! why write anything..u sound stupid

  • Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!

  • just a little fun fact: this song is based on, if not an entire cover of, Simon & Garfunkel's "Scarborough Fair", only named differently. xD :P ^^; :D ^.~

  • @nightthewolfhanyou eeh...wrong guess....just look it up...it's like 400 years old, maybe more.....

  • @nightthewolfhanyou Lol... Not quite.

  • i just love this song, no matter whos version. it wont let me post the wikipage of the songs history, but if you are interesstet: just look it up (Scarborough Fair).

  • @IcEye89, I was not comparing it to any version!! i was just saying that i didn't knew it was not a original from Omnia like i thought, and wanted to hear other versions

  • Great music!! i love it!! and now i see that it isn't original... hm.. going to look for that simon+garfunkel version...

  • @moonson1001 This is a traditional english song that is supposed to be over 400 Years old. How can anyone compare any version of this song to any "original"?

  • scarborough fair, siempore me recuerda a una persona super importante, magica para mi esta version es simplemente genial ^^ Gracias

  • OMG. I loveit!

  • ……. Yeah, us elves & you humans out there have always needed certain formulæic prerequisites in order for things to last, otherwise madness & calamity is certain to follow. Thank you, The Silvan Elve, for uploading this awesome Omnia version of the traditional made famous by Simon & Garfunkel. Namasté ~ (•8-D

  • Beautiful song! :)

  • uhh.. love it..

  • Well... not quite original- but closer than Simon and Garfunkel...

  • It's the best version.

  • this is a simon and garfunkle cover

:P the song is called scaborough fair lol epic song epic cover

  • @panfac actually, Simon and Garfunkle rewrote this song, which dates back to the Middle Ages. This is the origonal version.

  • really??? i didnt know that. lol my bad. although thats intresting . thanks for correcting me :P

  • @finnbjornmacaltbjorn Actually the original form of this song is called "The Elfin Knight" which is quite different from the Scarborough Fair versions.

The version from Simon and Garfunkel very closely resembles most old versions while Omnia made lots of creative adjustements.

Omnia claims to be close to the original version are unjustified and quite arrogant.

But they made a good song of it nevertheless.
