i got my left ear done surgically because i had scar tissue in it and wouldn't stretch. also some people don't want to wait to tape them, if you're going big, either by surgery or taping, they will still be buttholes when you take them out.

dude wtf? your lobes are thin as tits. downsize to get em thicker. i went from an inch to 3/4ths. and it helped my lobes out alot. mine were purty thin too. you can also buy some oils to help with making your lobes thicker.

TBH im sick of people saying you HAVE to do this, you CAN'T do this when it comes to ear stretching.

Bottom line is everythings different for every person and whilst advice can be given, its never a fact.

Body modification is in my bloodline I was giving him the average size. My father and my grandmother and my great grandmother were great body piercers and tattoo artists. I said that because that is what I am aware of.

Your parents and your parents' parents being piercers and (completely irrelevant) tattooists does not mean that you have a clue about it... knowledge isn't passed down through genes. Everyone's skin is different... I have seen people's ears get stuck at 2g and others can go up to 1/2" and still have them return to practically normal. Everyone is different and it's important for people to be aware of that.
