I've done the accidental paint jar drink before. Not fun at all, great advice for beginners to separate the drinks and supplies, since it's a common mistake when in "the zone".

Very good basic advice that some may this silly on where you place your liquids and paint/inks, and drinks. Doing it your way makes sense because there is less likelihood of spilling any water/coffee on the fine art you are inking!
