This situation could be avoided by using the new Quik Latch next generation hood pins. They automatically latch shut without needing to put the restrain pins in. Check out the Quik Latch video also on You Tube!

@dexsu RICE is an acronym that means Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. For example a 1994 Chevy Caviler with a body kit, racing seats, big wing, Folgers can for a muffler, and fake hood scoops to look like a race car when it is never raced would be rice. Rice can be any car even American or European. This car is not rice. BlueBanger90 is just a dumbass.

@paulhunter123 E30's bonnets do open in reverse but look at the dash, its from a E46 so that explains the bonnet snapping back.
