Hi, thanks for the great info. What would you recommend I take on an expedition to the rivers of West Coast, New Zealand? I'm thinking, the hornet pump to begin with and if I have some success, then the High Production sluice box? Cheers.
All of his stuff is simple and very user friendly also with good results. Go to his website @ mygoldpanning to understand his sluice box theory. Check out his manual pump/dredge made of pvc.
very very nice . Quiet , and definately high production. Thank you so much for sharing. I always knew it possible to outshovel a dredge, you proved it.
Nice. i do wonder though how much powder gold, and other fine gold you're losing between the rocks as they float immediately back onto the ground, and how many nuggets get knocked back off of the mat as larger rocks knock into them. probably not many. you'd notice nuggets that big.

The Magnum gold Hornet or the gold recovery pump would both be good choices. It depends on where you will be working, Bedrock or gravels?

how does the water get up to the big black pipe at top?

@howtogetwell
I use a plastic bucket to fill the tube. Lasts about 4 mins. between fills. I like the "no pump required approach".
The silence is deafening.

what if you just missed a big nugget?

@lexusowner
You can set the width of the classifier wider if you like.
This will allow for larger nuggets not to be missed.
