  • Crazy to think a 'full-price' game only had 3 levels but there you go. I actually liked this on the CPC. It was colourful, had Jackie Wilson chip tunes and that funky last level where you get to almost perfectly re-enact (for a crappy old 8bit machine) the finalé of the film, positioning Peter, Egon and Winston to slime the fuck out of Ray in front of *that* painting. Ah, nostalgia.

  • man i remember when this was released lol was REALLY impressed with the amstrad version (had a CPC6128)

  • There is a PC (MS-DOS) version from 1990 which is completely different.

  • haha i had this for the amstrad cpc, was only a kid and i couldnt make it past this stage. was hard as shit as far as i can remember

  • looks like he's shooting proton beams out of his cock

  • Why are your legs 5 times longer than your torso?

  • crap game

  • What do you do when you get to the bottom? Just keep touching the sludge and not die?

  • CPC version look better - has better colors and is more suitable for such a system. PC is good... for office stuff :) Wanna games today? Buy console. That's, of course, only my opinion.

  • I could never do the first level, that green spider like thing always kept cutting the dam rope. Still i like the Amstrad rendition of the Ghostbusters theme music, I wonder who did it, sounds like either David Whitacker's or Jonathan Dunn's style.

  • Thanks to the Universe now there we can play on 360 !!!

  • never saw this game lol

  • yes im a computer expert ive completed this game several times

  • I think I got past the first level only once on the C64 version. :S

  • I never got past the 1st level on C64...was impossible.Odiavo sto gioco di merda.

  • I wish I could find the controls for the remake. I have no idea how to control Ray on his way down

  • that sounds terrible

  • Ha, you poor sods think this level was hard, you should have seen the next one with the Statue of Liberty. The final level was probably the easiest of the bunch but was also the most fiddly, it went isometric and you had to position all four Ghostbusters to zerg Vigo then get Ray in front of the painting and nuke him too.

  • i had the amstrad version YEARS ago. i could never get past the 1st level it was so fucking hard

  • I'm sorry to say this is NOT the PC version, but the Spectrum and Amstradd... PC version is really different (I own both of them).

  • loved this game completed it after hours of playing night after night just you have to kill that painting dude and his human buddy then there it s a load of pics at the end of everyone happy and smiling baby saved yay

  • i had this for c64. the final level was impossible although i think i beat it once.

  • wow ... this's wack

    lol

  • im getting the pc version and the ps2 version just to experience 2 different games.

  • ps2 ghostbusters game is not this game

  • i had this game for the amstrad, i never got off this level

  • same here. i thought the slime was pink

  • Fucking hard. I cant grab the items on the ledges. Any tips?

  • It looks like your character is taking a piss when you use the photon beam.

  • I had this on the Spectrum :(

PC version looks the dogs bollocks!

  • I totally agree...it's impossible for a normal human being to complete

  • after playing it, agreed.

  • Where can you get this GB2 remake from?

Nice vid ... think the CPC version was the best out of the 8-bits, love the animated face when Ray gets grabbed by one of those haunted hands! Sound fx is not too hot though.

  • Download "Ghostbusters II" from parkproductions.btinternet . co . uk

  • Anybody got vids of the IBM PC version by Activision. It's one of the games I never could finish.
