I think it's great that this series still has the following it does. Makes me hope for the future, at least for a DVD release if not a finishing up of the ending ep.
Actually I liked Hey Arnold in the beginning. It kind of got too popular and went too long though. But its a very different kind of audience that Hey Arnold was marketed towards. Nobody expected Hey Arnold and Silver Surfer to be appreciated by the same people :P
Well the comparison may look vague to you but the age group for both shows are kind of the same (That is between 8-15) audience. The Hey Arnold! show, itself was nothing brilliant as there were many others just like it in those times, but Silver Surfer was a much more complicated show with real conflict within the main character and gives it more of a real feel with fantasy. I am not accusing the Hey Arnold Show of being bad, I just think it is a redundant idea...by Nickelodeon who like money.:)

yeah he does the living tribunals faces (equity, Necessity and vengeance) correspond to three cosmic beings in the univers Galactus represents the equity face since he is the balance between eternity and Death, Enternal Represents Necessity and Death represents Vengeance.
Infinity is simply an aspect of Enternity she's both a sister to him and a female aspect like how oblivion is an aspect of death and usually deals with souls of creatures that have ceased to exist like with time travel or the ultimate nullifier.

Silver Surfer is so cool. But this show is way too deep for children, that's why it didn't last. The action is more phsycological than physical. Some good ethical themes in this show.
I could see why this show failed. Not for lack of quality in the writing or artwork, but because the Surfer is one of the more philosophically complex super heroes around, it probably left many a little kid scratching their heads in puzzlement. This series probably would've prospered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
Yeah, my brother was the one who introduced me to this show... they showed it at his college. Even in the comics was the Surfer interesting. It's a shame that they don't plan on bring the show back anytime soon (they're spending time working on X-men, spiderman, and Fantastic Four).

Wow, great story, pretty damn. It isn't entirely accurate according to the comics, but these Hollywood people always have to put their spin on everything. They have to make it "theirs" but it really belongs to the fans. Ego is always a trip, it's cool as hell to see him. He had some great battles with Thor.

Read the fucking comic book and you can see that most if not all of it is accurate. Silver Surfer doesn't remember he's Norrin Radd because Galactus took away his memory. Thanos is Silver Surfer villan and the Watcher explains the reason why he broke his creed is because Zenn La has been a beacon of hope in a universe consumed by war and bloodshed. Jeez, some people don't pay any fucking attention.

Well you know the first episode did explain all that. As for his powers being weaker. I would say those are something that just gets stronger with time. Also to be fair that planet was able to cut off his source of power making him an easy target. It is like when you remove the oxygen from around a flame. The flame will then weaken and then die.
90s cartoons are the best I miss them all like: Ninja Turtles, Silver Surfer, X-Men, M.A.S.K. and Inspector Gadget :-)

Silver Surfer is so cool. But this show is way too deep for children, that's why it didn't last. The action is more phsycological than physical. Some good ethical themes in this show.

I could see why this show failed. Not for lack of quality in the writing or artwork, but because the Surfer is one of the more philosophically complex super heroes around, it probably left many a little kid scratching their heads in puzzlement. This series probably would've prospered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Yeah, my brother was the one who introduced me to this show... they showed it at his college. Even in the comics was the Surfer interesting. It's a shame that they don't plan on bring the show back anytime soon (they're spending time working on X-men, spiderman, and Fantastic Four).

Wow, great story, pretty damn. It isn't entirely accurate according to the comics, but these Hollywood people always have to put their spin on everything. They have to make it "theirs" but it really belongs to the fans. Ego is always a trip, it's cool as hell to see him. He had some great battles with Thor.

Read the fucking comic book and you can see that most if not all of it is accurate. Silver Surfer doesn't remember he's Norrin Radd because Galactus took away his memory. Thanos is Silver Surfer villan and the Watcher explains the reason why he broke his creed is because Zenn La has been a beacon of hope in a universe consumed by war and bloodshed. Jeez, some people don't pay any fucking attention.

Well you know the first episode did explain all that. As for his powers being weaker. I would say those are something that just gets stronger with time. Also to be fair that planet was able to cut off his source of power making him an easy target. It is like when you remove the oxygen from around a flame. The flame will then weaken and then die.
