  • Do you know a website where I could get a good sugar glider

  • Thanks for the update! Hah omg

  • @drmillerman Wowwww that's mature I bet u didn't know he died may 22 2011 yah how bout that info

  • Pellets don't give your glider what they need nutritionally and cause abscesses in the gliders mouth..Pellets are meant to be a partially diet and that's the only way they should be used. As a basic diet you should use The BML,HPW, or the Priscilla's diet. Everything else though was accurate :D

  • RIP bro, i miss you alot.

  • Info is outdated now for those watchinG. Fine then but now not nutritional. Pellets not real great. HPW is most popular.

  • How gay are you. No wonder he bit you ya fricken fruit cake. But the gliders are sick and good info.

  • @drmillerman

I can't tell whether you're trying to be funny or serious about the fruit cake thing.

  • 5:26cute(♥ω♥)

  • Thx ur the best

  • sooo i have a baby squirrel i found in my yard and im now raising it, are they like squirrells at all? and are they really that bad at being pets?? o____o

  • @RawrHelloKittyYums

Set the squirrel free, it's cruel and could have diseases...They're cute but you obviously don't know how to take care of it, let it live free and have a happy life :/

  • @xJezika i am.. its not fully grown.. were taking care of it till it grows up.. its about 1 week old right now.. we found it on the ground and i didnt want anything to happen to it.. so as soon as it gets older i will set it free im not keeping it in a house.

  • @RawrHelloKittyYums

Fair play, I understand the situation now, They like apple slices and other types of fruit, un-buttered and un-salted plain popcorn, nuts, bird seed. Always check by using google or something if you're going to introduce a new food to them so you know if it is okay for them

  • @xJezika alright, thanks for the help

  • @RawrHelloKittyYums sugr gliders are not like squirrels at all, sugar gliders are marsupials and they are predators. they are also very smart, about as smart as the average dog, squirrells are stupid rodents.

  • @Dizzra1 ouch...

  • glider leashes HURT sugar gliders

  • UPDATE:

i no longer have sugar gliders. they sucked as pets. the end. oh and i hope they're DEAD!!!

    what goes around comes around....

  • I had the tiniest bit of respect for you until I saw that update.

  • R.I.P good vid will have fun in heaven

  • Pellets aren't good for sugar gliders. :3

  • I have two and I bought them off of Craigs list for 175 for two plus cage and everything it comes with

  • Whoa, that update text :C I'm pretty sure leashes aren't good for them because of their gliding membranes, and also because they don't understand the concept of restraint. Diet wise pellets are pretty often considered bad by a lot of glider communities favoring the HLP and similar diets. Gliders require a lot of calcium or they can get hind leg paralysis, so you need to dust their fruit/insects with calcium. Gliders are also insectivores primarily, so insects ARE important for protein.

  • does anyone know whats the introduction song?

  • To those of you who don't know. I went to the same highschool as Will and our town was recently destroyed by a tornado(yes, Joplin, MO).

On Sunday night, Will was sucked out of his cars sunroof by an ef-5 tornado. He was found dead this morning in a pond. He was a great happy kid and now he is in a better place.

  • I can't believe he's gone.

RIP, Will. You'll always be da beast.

  • Will was found. I'm sorry to say he is not alive. RIP Will, he's walking with angels now.

Source: Help Find Will Norton (Family's FB page)

    Prayers from SC <3

  • RIP ma., Your dad couldn't hold on but I know God did.

  • @Crastics07 He hasn't been found. So they don't know if he is dead or not...

  • @heather99100 It's crazy but it's a high probable that he's not alive, but I am not doubting the fact that he maybe very well alive. Excuse my English back there, meant to type man. I hope that these videos will boom and people will recognize him for him being himself and not acting like a true moron or doing what every person does every day. Wish him the best either way.

  • @Crastics07 I know, but still, he hasn't been found. So there is a chance he could still be alive. You are right though, it's likely he's not. Being ripped from a car by a tornado, and thrown somewhere, it's most likely you won't survive. But there is still hope...

  • @heather99100 Lets keep the hope alive and for the others in that tragic event that took place over there.

  • =[ poor guy!! i hope he's okay

  • the news say that the storm wasn't kind with you, is that true?

  • @Bellcart hes stil missing...look up on google "youtube star sucked out of sunroof by tornado" it shoudl hopefully go to the article since you cant post links here

  • @TheNich8888 Yea. Link is up on jalopnik about him.

  • the reason they have a smell is cuz ur feeding them milworms and pork....feed less of that and they will smell like a puppy

  • holy shit! really!? are they that bad to have as pets D: lol

  • they eat almost everything. and if anyone wants real info.asgv.org/

  • people think there helping but there making it hard for the people that are trying to learn CORRECT info on these pets

  • 16 days ,really i thought i heard that they had a really long gestation period?so how long before they can be seperated from the mother if you were to breed them?and also i heard that they only have like 1 or 2 joeys per litter ,i herad that it takes along time to breed them

  • do they have them in ottawa i want one .

  • Omg this video help me my shuger glider name is Cody I just gate it tow day

  • You're cute. And so are your gliders!

  • Tht was a great idea abt the tent I hadn't thought of tht. I wear a jacket n let them crawl in and out my sleeves n hood.

@harrypotter8982--- I feed mine a mix of yogurt, babyfood (veggie or fruit), and baby oatmeal for main food. Along with fruit and tofu (great source of protien and low in fat). Crickets n mealworms occasionally... Be cautious of the crickets though bc they can sometimes carry disease.

  • I'm having a hard time bonding. Any tips anyone?

  • hey if u ever want to sell them let me know plz!!!

  • TO all people scared about a sugar glider biting you it pretty much feels like a firm pinch.

  • cute pet, cute boy, cute vid<3

  • @rottiebabe71 I wonder if you read the update :- /

  • Hey just a question, I dont have a sugar glider YET, but I'm going insane worrying about when I do get one, what to feed them (I'm getting 2). I read a post about someone's sugar glider dying because lack of calcium, anyone have a suggestion what to feed them besides yogurt? Because honestly thats all I was going to feed them... fruit, veggies, water (of course), a little bit of yogurt and every once in a while, meal worms, and the protien pellets...someone PLEASE help me! Reply! Please!!!!!!!!!

  • @HarryPotter8982 The best way to cure lack of calcium is to get a calcium supplement called glider boost and just sprinkle that over their dry pelets every other day. you should feed them pelets EVERYDAY your feeding schedule should be something like 1st day-pelets and fruit 2nd day- pelets and boost 3rd day- pelets and vegies then 4th day pelets and boost. then start over. yes gliders need meal worms for protien but if you give them too many it can cause them to get dehydrated. which in turn...

  • @HarryPotter8982 ,,, can cause death. 3 to 5 mealworms per glider per day... you dont want to give your glider tap water it has minerals that will also dehydrate them. so use filtered water or botttled water. if there's anything else you want to know just send me a message i'm a breeder and i can tell you just about anything you want to know about your glider

  • Any help on how to bond with a neglected suggie? My bro brings back a suggie he bought from his friend saying he can't cope taking care of him.

  • Good job! Take care of that cold!

  • You got a pretty mouth

  • @zasr5

Wow four? That colour morph is really rare lucky you for have FOUR of them I personally would never spend $ 4000.00 for ONE albino let alone $ 16000.00.

  • What pet store please I want one sooo badly

  • ur awesome

  • your voice is so cute. :) I want a sugar glider now. <3

  • fucking disgusting!! sugar gliders are meant to be free. they are not meant to be pets!! shame on you!

  • @MrCg19 haha, nothings meant to be a pet.... people "own" pets and hopefully have their hearts in the right place.

  • im deff getting one!!! can u message me i have a couple questions i wanna ask ^.^

  • 150$!!!!! oh well back to the pet rock for me.... damnit it peed on the carpet again bad rock.

  • Why is there such a hostile crowd about sugar glider food? I honestly don't trust ANY site that I have seen so far. Everybody has an opinion but I don't see any solid evidence about any of their arguments. I see these complex diets and then I see these pellets. Both of which people will argue what needs to make up a majority of their diet and if you dont choose the right one there will be "CONSEQUENCES!" Well can I see some sugar glider health reports about which one is actually better?

  • dfasfasdf no pellets! no no no no nooo!

  • @imaginationcakes Why is there such a hostile crowd about sugar glider food? I honestly don't trust ANY site that I have seen so far. Both of which people will argue what needs to make up a majority of their diet and if you dont choose the right one there will be "CONSEQUENCES!" Well can I see some health reports about which one is actually better?

  • @FOXMAN09 they need a steady, precise diet of the pellets, and i use the leadbetters diet. they get the leadbetters every other day and the pellets should be about a tablespoonful for gliders every day freefeed

  • @FOXMAN09 You can actually see reports and documentation proving which diets are better. GliderCentral has a whole section of their forum devoted to diet, and a huge list of calcium-phosphorus ratios of different foods. Pellets are not good for gliders, aside from a few approved types you can find on that site. Go look for yourself.

  • @imaginationcakes if you get the right kind and keep it refrigerated it is perfectly okay. i am a sugar glider breeder. but they need the other diet as well- i use leadbetters.

  • This information is all wrong!!! No telling how old this kid is... Don't listen to anything this kid says.

  • @WinkyMaeve thats so unbelievably rude. the gliders love being with humans, and this gentleman is doing a very good job with them. what do they look unhealthy to you? i didnt think so. he's fine, his gliders are obviously happy and fine. lay off. you have no life.

  • Comment removed

  • @WinkyMaeve you clearly know nothing about animals if they were abused they wouldnt be showing this type of behaviour !!!!!!!!!!

  • haha.. btw, i posted that comment halfway through.. shoulda waited i guess:]

  • Hahaha are you in a tent?

  • im getting my 2 sugar gliders in 2 weeks!

  • It's nice that you adopted one/took one from a previous owner.

  • hey where did you get your sugar glider?

  • where did you get your tenet and how much?

  • OMG, THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS

  • i got 1 at a flea market for 50 dollards :)

  • where do u get sugar gliders????

  • awh, i have 3 girls and they're adorable animals :)

  • I think this video was pretty great, but pellets should ONLY be used as a staple food, otherwise known as a food that's in their cage at all times in case they get hungry.

It shouldn't make up most of their diet.

  • @deannalovesyu he never said it made up most of their diet, he just said they get most of their protein from it

  • @felic70 but they DON'T get most of there protein from it! As a matter of fact they bairly get anything from it!

  • @babygrl14 they're diet is supposed to be ATLEAST 1/3 protien and that pellet is like 25% protien... and your feeding them meal worms and yogurt and fruits+veggies on top of that so stfu

  • @iamthesexmuffin excuse me? try 50% protein, 25% fruit, and 25% veggies. Those "precious" pellets you speak of are FILLERS. Therefore they get little to NOTHING out of them Do you know what sugar gliders are? Why they have the name the do? They are SAP SUCKERS. And what do pellets consist of? Crap. They are dry and HARD unless you get the top of the line moist pellets. Sugar gliders have a thin throat which pretty much allows only liquids or anything very fine to pass through or they'd choke.

  • Second, meal worms are TREATS and are high in FAT. Not a good source of protein. Check your facts before bad mouthing me on my already bad day.

  • btw sugar gliders are awsome

  • The only thing holding me back from getting some is I want to go to college in a few years... what are you gonna do if you get in that situation?

  • wow, this video is the best i've seen on caring for a sugar glider. i was planning on getting one, and am still planning on it. Thanks alot for posting this!

  • Your right it is a glider noose, please do use them. Pellets aren't good for them either. Cute video .

  • i have 4, mommy, daddy, and 2 babies. i sold 1 of them on craigslist. mine have had babies twice but we sold the first baby when he matured. the tent thing really works. it awesome!

  • just so everyone knows all that shit he if feeding them are bad for them

your diet is all wrong bud!

  • @spitfire294 actually they AREN'T bad at all. there are bad pellets... bad pellets are low in protein and have a high phosphorus to calcium ratio and have corn in their top ingredients. The pellets he has for them are one of the good kinds, and you feed them mineral supplements and fruits/veggies and other protein sources on top of feeding them pellets. Stop being ignorant. look at the ingredients before assume pellets are bad, if you think they're to hard soak 'em in apple juice

  • @iamthesexmuffin I have read the ingredients, and I've discussed them all with a very good sugar glider forum. We even have people from Austarlia that work with the wild life sugar glider that give us input. Mineral supplements? How confindent are you with those? Do you know the damage you do if you give them too much, causing their organs to fail if you're not too careful? Only one being ignorant is you.

  • you guys are so very lucky i spent hours researching and then realized their illegal in california

  • its really easy to get away with it tho

  • yes but i have to order everything for sugar gliders(little fishy) then how will i wind a local breeder? and if i get caught its a mader of life or death and we are moving pretty soon

  • i got inspired to buy one when i saw this vid about 7 mths ago now i have my very own suggie!

  • wow nice cool!

  • I just got mine today :]]

  • where can i buy one?? let me know asap!

  • Dude you did a great job. People who are miserable cut other people down.

  • To anyone reading this now, DO NOT use a glider leash. They are very harmful to the glider!!

  • @x0hsweetn0thin Yeah, they don't understand restraint and if they get scared then they jump..snap their neck. no more glider. :[[

  • Thanks for the info, but speak up a little next time. It was really hard to understand what you're saying. :)

  • OMG ur so hot and ur cute so s ur sugar glider ...... OMGGGGGGGGGG ur soooooooo cute ......

  • Comment removed

  • wtf im getting a normal grey one for $300!

also the membrane tht stretchs from there ankles too there wrists can be torn from tht leash....

  • $300 for a standard gray is extremely expensive. They should only cost between $100-$200. You can afford other color variations such as WF-WFB (white faced or white faced blonde) for $250-$300. I have only ever seen standard grays cost that much from the mill breeder Pocket Pets and from a few pet stores (both of which are not good.)

  • you are very slow

  • "all my friends come over and there like "CAN I COME IN THE TENT" lol

  • you are very stupid you dont diserve any thing im just kiding nice job!!!!

  • you're super cute. i can't wait to get mine :):)

  • Comment removed

  • ? he doesnt sound like a girl at all, you probably just have a manly voice dumb whore. Get a life

  • That tent. Fab idea!

  • try to forget the other stuff and spend more time with you suggies

  • I agree with SlibitAndKeepsix the gliders need other foods in their diet that you can give them also as treats that will be more healthy for them. Mine loves Grapes and Corn from the cob i've boiled and cut off. The fresher the better. They also love watermelon and strawberries. They get most of their water intake from the fruits and bugs they eat as they would in the wild but still if you feed them crickets make sure the size suits your baby. Baby= Medium crickets, Adults= medium-large crickets

  • Nice video, but Please do not use the leash on them. Sugar gliders have no sense of restraint and they also have Very VERY sensitive membranes under their arms and sides. The softest of material can still chafe and cut them.

No matter if u get a real sugar glider leash, they are not good for their health.

You look like a great owner, but if I could get you to do one thing from what I've seen is to throw that leash away please.

  • @SlibitAndKeepsix He said he never used it. Calm down

  • nice video

  • I bet the newborn is really cute, ive wanted sugar gliders for so long! but i have to wait till i move out =/ which is soon so yay

  • Your kind of like a rich spoiled sissy boy. All soft and not manly....

  • First I thought you were being a douche and gave thumbs down, I watched further and your right

  • Yeah it was kinda douchey but..... right??

  • thanks for the info. good luck w/ the newborn.

  • How much do they poo? - can they be trained? How bad does it smell? How bad is cleanup?

  • Do you live in a tent?

  • you actually aren't supposed to give them a lot of dried fruit but they are good for treats. they lovelovelove mealworms. and fresh fruits and veggies. very complicated diet.

  • Meal worms are treats not food, they are actually not that good except the protein, they should only be feed one a day at the most, and Crickets are 80% Better for them in protein calcium and Healthy fat instead of bad fat.

please do not over feed them worms

  • at the fair in my area (Amarillo, Texas) their selling one for $450 and for 2 they add $250 ($700)

  • get rid of the leash! that can hurt them very badly!!

  • do you still have your sugar glider?? Quick question? how long did it take for Your glider to bond with you?

  • Sucks how this is the 2nd video when you look up 'sugar glider' seeing as how most of this information is inaccurate and unsafe!

  • I have two sugar gliders that are retards

  • yo whats up where can you get one in k.s.

  • P.s. Price wise range: $150-$4,000

why? Coloration these are exotic pets, the pure white shuggies are the most rare and thus most expensive. Leashes damage the membrane , throw it away if you bond with your shuggie the right way they won't leave you when you go outside. Either way be a smart shuggie lover and be cautious and use common sense, don't let these babies suffer

  • White ones are actually only around $1,000. I have one - platinums and albinos are the most expensive, and some can be over $5,000. At one point, albinos were selling for about $10,000.

  • Ok for all you peeps that say they are picky yes they are but the answer is simple, take the vegtables and fruit, put it in a blender and pour the mix into a ice tray and freeze it when it's time to feed take one or two out and let it thaw before you feed it to your shuggie. They eat it all. My uncle breeds them and I'm getting a baby next month, he's 2 weeks old right now so he's not old enough to come home yet

  • i mite get one soon

  • Everything I've read STRONGLY recommends not to use any kind of leash on these guys. I suggest you get rid of it.

  • Excuse me the one whom own gliders may not know everything their is to know but they do know some things thanks to research, I do however agree no one can know everything because there simply isn't enough documented information out there about the so please don't say people don't know anything.

  • Oh my god don't even thin about just getting one... theese animals live in coloies in the that buying two is a little more expensive but in the long run but in the long run it better on your pocket. Another thing you need to consider is your future where do you plan to be in the next ten years, Are you planning on graduating, perhaps going to college, will the college you plan to attend allow you to have animals, do

  • Deidara if you have done your research you would know if they are illegal or legal in Pa... why do I get the feeling your an impulse buyer? Don't buy theese animals on impulse as with all exotic animal you need to research about them, and their diets and other things and that's easy it can be done right on the web

  • give up there diet pellets arent good for them do the hpw diet and another thing never use that leash it wil cut into the membrane and they can get infections

  • Dude pellets arent good for them.. they can get lumpy jaw.. meaning a piece of the pellet cuts their gum an abcess forms, you don't even have no way of knowing as theese guys hide thereillness ver well untill their last stages of life when they can no longer hide the ailments, and than it may be to late to save them

  • That, and not to mention that pellets are crap, as far as nutrition goes, and are hard and can loosen their teeth.

  • @Lillyae thats why you soak them in water or apple juice to soften them up -.-

  • is it ok if i only get 1 sugar glider?

  • I just got my babies today. ( :

    Lily & Meah.

    Heh.

  • are they illegal in Pa?? please answer me ;__; thanks ~!!

  • Man this guy has no idea wat to feed them. I depends on where u get them nd if they are used to dat food. Mine hav the same food as hem exept for da chips shit he holdin up on 5:30
