  • this song reminds me of my late dad robert cappo!!!!...this was his song!!

  • ahh ,, we all get older but voices just get better eh? lol

  • These voices make my soul cry out with a passion I can't find words for

  • We are all speaking mostly English here. The euros called us 'natives' too. Red is the color our Creator gave us.

  • Yes...CD"s Please....♥

  • Simply an amazing part of history ... I like the comment from similkameenNative about these singers .. that's great!

  • Wonderful. Reminds me of being a kid when me my sister and I and our Native American friends used to go to pow wows, support aim, do native crafts, when I did not know that I needed to do research to find a relative on the dawes roll to prove my native ancestry, when I felt more Native than black. But back to reality cannot join a tribe though my mom is mostly native American.

  • Very very coool!

  • good job guys

  • aint these cats Kiowa?? theyre really good!!..........ps: Peru update: Amazon natives still protesting since april 9th. 60 tribesmen killed. and 9 cops dead too. 16 oil workers still missing.

  • They're not Kiowa, they're Blackfeet.

  • @OAlittlechief black foot or do we pluralize? lol.

  • Yes i would like to also find out if this is on a cd...if so, what is it called? and is it sold out in powwow country?

  • i was told by my dad that when these little boys were having there coming out special they couldnt drum very good and the dancer just walked off the grass so this old cowboy told the dancer that it was dishonerable to do that and that these young singers were singing for them so he told them to sing agian and the dancers had to dance you know who those singers were? they were blacklodge when they were very young. Look at them now their pros

  • is this song on a cd?

  • OMG, I think this is from way bak, when I used to Stalk Blacklodge..........:)

  • hey rez momma what up!

  • All skins are different man im Oneida Iroquois Confederacy man... Nya:Weh for the Video though jammin better then ever Black Lodge much respect.

  • thats my sweety!!! johnny scabbyrobe?..and today hes still jamms and looks handsome love you mu hunny bunny!

  • This is absolutely beautiful, TY for posting this older footage. It is great to see them when they were all so young and the singing is stellar!

  • listening to natives sing is cool if you don't care to hear natives then log off the sight

  • do you see anybody wearing hats? must be a "honor" song u idiot.....

  • where's Erwin? rarely see him in the vidz.

  • All Powwows are original in songs but ritual and traditional clothing have changed with the times, most first nations regalia is very modernized with original ancient designes, but the material may come from fabric land, nat alot of buckskin is warn because quite simply, itds just to hot!

  • How come (hardly) no (any)one wears traditional clothing while playing the drum? Isn't that also a part of tradition and ritual? Who can inform me. Pls. excuse my ignorance, but can't seem to find any info on this matter as to what happened

  • Im sorry but im ignorant to the chiapos way of understanding our tradition and culture. Its not about being routine in our traditions and culture, were indian,we move to the beat of our own Drum. But I will school you on the Old Way,the best traditional outfits were worn during times of battle.

  • because we all shop at the mall....

  • they sing great songs

  • Black Lodge The Best Group Ever In Native History Look It Up,I Say Us Injun'z Must Go Back To The Old Way'z Yes Sir The Good Ol'Day'z When Indian People Ran The States And War With The Chimoke's.....lol Just A Thought!!! NDN-PRIDE 4 EVER!!!!

  • ATLEST HAVE A SAY IN THIS BULLSHIT ASS GOVERNMENT. mEXICANS SHOULD GO HOME AND DEVELOPE THEIR OWN COUNTRY. Learn YOUR WAYS AND NEVER LOSE YOUR TONGUE.(LANGUAGE) wE NEED TO GET ORGINIZED, THE SOONER THE BETTER..........rEAD A BOOK!

  • Most Mexicans are Indian. I had to stop and take a breath before responding to your comment. With all due respect, if you had bothered to read a book you would have discovered that before the White Invasion there was no border. Red people were red people. Different nations with the same blood. 30% of the population of Mexico are 100% Indian by blood quantum. That's a cold hard fact. I don't mean any disrespect to you or to anyone. As far as I'm concerned, that border is a problem for red people.

  • @nimexica with all due respect any Anishenabe whom has study our people's history as spoken and taught by our elder's and through the mouth's of creator's prophets would know that the tim before the border you speak of is thousands of years ago and most of the tribes at least Anishenabe tribes are here because we left Central America to find a more humane life style. I hope I do not offend but please do not underestimate the knoweledge of our peopls history that remains.

  • Wabanunk,

I understand your argument. I'm only trying to point out that indigenous people on both sides of that border are Red people.

  • yo, watch WES MILES VIRUS videos y'all

  • WOWZERS its not like the sundance is being streamed into YOUTUBE!

Kinda funny watching realizing how fast the tempo of our powwow song are now compared to back then. If we were to sing songs this slow now, nobody would dance :P (INCLUDING GOLDEN AGE)

  • Beautiful just beautiful, just hearing them sing and the beat of the drum fills me with pride.

  • I wish I could have been there

  • i love them

  • Moviemarkiss, why do you feel that our culture should not be broadcasted across the internet? Seeing these videos, makes me have great pride that I'am native american. Our young ones will follow what they see... What culture are they following today? Rap!

  • Hey Moviemarkiss, Paintedhorse87 is right on the money! We should be everywhere, Our songs should be heard from sea to shining sea! Do you think we are doing this for you, did you even think maybe some Indians just want to share with other Indian? These are "Electronic Smoke Signals" But maybe its just an Indian thing! We are a people who have adapted to nearly everything and every circumstance, wherever there is a will to survive, Survive We Will... This is a nice song too! - Michael

  • There are many in the world who envy native american culture. It belongs to a time that people can only dream of, in the past these cultures were widespread and civilization has removed people from their spiritual roots.

  • This why it's good to show people how we are now. He/she (Axeholm) writes like we're dead. This is an old video, but dude, it ain't that old.

  • well put.,, I freaking hate when people think our ways of life are dead i am not from here i am Lummi and i think it is so strange when people think it is all in the past, We also put this out here for people like me... i like to watch it and listen to it, makes me happy. So there.

  • made my hair stand on end!

  • ok yea me to that was odd. Not trying to sound ruse but I read what you wrote before this started and I was like what ever they are probably ok but not that great. Then at about half way through the bigging my hair stood up on end as well. crazy I think i remember this song from when I was little though out near Lummi or something but I was really little.
